We visited this restaurant yesterday for lunch, and could not regret it more. Our waitor was hostile and rude, and the level of service was below zero. First, my husband got a knife that had been used before. Then, we received a bread basket with...More

We visited for a drink as it was so attractive with the pictures on the windows. The pictures reminded us of the pub in the film Beauty and the beast and in Disney Florida. Inside it was just a quiet cafe which was surprising in...More

We visited this place and thought: what a nice place. But we were wrong. 1) terrible service 2) we had lipstick on a wineglass twice And were snitched on. They said it was the washing machine, but I personally don’t think that it washes with...More

This brasserie is located at the tip of Ile Saint Louis, overlooking the Seine and Notre Dame. It is the first bustling brasserie you see when you walk along the little footbridge from Notre Dame onto the island, it is on your left. I come...More

Our family of four stumbled upon this restaurant on Île Saint-Louis, next to the Pont Saint-Louis. It was raining and so a meal of cassoulet sounded good. Hearty food and friendly service are what you will find here. Although the prices are a bit high...More

Lovely location, had much veal and pasta, with cream sauce and a glass of red wine, reasonably priced, good service a good tourist attraction, good people watching. Down side the veal was hard as a rock and had to leave most of it. Told the...More

Five of us came here on a Monday evening in early October around 7:15pm for dinner. It was fairly empty at that time, but started to fill up before long. A surprising specialty of this place is their pork sausage and sauerkraut. The sauerkraut is...More

Stopped for beverages and to enjoy the scene behind the crowded plaza of Norte Dame. Efficient if indifferent service but thousands of people walk by so I can understand their disengagement.

Drought Mutzig lager, friendly and humorous waiters, specially good choucroute and other dishes, have made de celebrity of that spot. Not forgetting the situation, like on a little village place, at the tip of the beautiful Île Saint Louis. Care! closed on wednesday.

Great little brasserie overlooking the Seine. Typical French fare and service, which we liked very much. You can just have a snack, a drink or linger over dinner watching the world go by and soaking up the Parisian vibes.

Ile de la Cite / Ile Saint-Louis
Two islands sit in the middle of the Seine at the very
heart of Paris. The more majestic one, Ile de la Cité,
sparkles with history. This is the birthplace of
Paris, the home of the Gothic Sainte-Chapelle, and the
site of the prison where Marie Antoinette was held
before her execution. Tourists flock to see the iconic
Notre Dame and the beautiful bridges that straddle the
Seine. Ile Saint-Louis, the more provincial island,

The Brasserie was established in 1870 and has been serving continuously since. It has become a Paris tradition, for Parisians and other friends from all over the world. The decor has been kept and the traditional french food is authentic and home made with only fresh products. Located in the most romantic and beautiful area, on the small island by Notre Dame right in the heart of the old Paris. The Brasserie will welcome you in a warm and cosy Parisian atmosphere in winter, while in summer you will enjoy a drink or a meal as well as the island's famous Berthillon ice cream on the terrace with its magnificent view of Paris. We serve from noon to 11pm (close on Wednesdays) and we do not take reservations so come whenever you want. We hope that you will enjoy our restaurant and we hope to see you soon.
