Took some younger friends who had never visited Paris for a late drink after a Bastille Day party. They loved the experience and so did we. We haven't been to this tourist mecca in years but found it charming and quintessentially Paris. Pleasant time to...More

We have stopped here twice on two different trips. The cafe has a wonderful history and is a frequent stopping point in the Saint Germain neighborhood. The waiters are expert, take good care of you etc. The prices are probably higher than they should be,...More

Voltaire and Jean-Jacques Rousseau used to dine and discuss here. Ambiance is great. Prices are a little high, but you're paying for its history.

We had read mixed reviews...some say overpriced tourist place. We found it to be wonderful! Lovely outdoor seating enclosed with boxwoods to make it feel a bit quieter on the busy boulevard.

We had to hit this spot before even moving into the neighborhood in a week. Different ways I've been reflecting about the mirroring of neighborhoods back in the states Ive seen. Obviously, Europe's history precede America in some ways but replicates in architecture and style....More

ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine

squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the
oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
