We visited after seeing some great reviews and we were not let down. The manager was warm and friendly and engaging with our children. The food was tasty, plentiful and well priced. We had a great time

Imagine having dinner with a cousin who you haven’t seen in 20 years! We both live in the United States. She in Oregon. My family and I in Massachusetts. We were very close when we were younger. To find out we were both in Paris...More

Living in Australia opportunities for eating a good couscous are very limited.Chez Omar was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it. The decor, the atmosphere, the food and service was very good.

I've eaten here many times, and it's always very good. It's not fancy, or haute cuisine. It's a simple restaurant, with pleasant bistro seating, and dependable couscous based dishes. The merguez is very good, they have moroccan wines, which are also good. Service is correct...More

We came upon Chez Omar by accident -- out of a chilly street into a room filled to bursting with warmth and friendly chatter. The food was hot, plentiful and nourishing. Obviously a local favourite, but also welcoming to visitors like us.

Very nice staff, fast service and great food! Although a bit expensive, it is worth it. Would recommend for a great couscous

Lots of turists, "coucous royal" good but not exceptional. Good dessert. Mint tea too pricy. No cards.

Dropped in to this restaurant during our recent Vacation in Paris. Service was good and the roast lamb was the best that I have ever had...big portion that I first thought I could not finished until I tasted the lamb!! So moist and tender.

Was really looking forward to this on the basis of previous reviews. Service was appalling, waiter was rude and pushy. Got the vegetable couscous, nothing more than bland minestrone soup. Meat didn't look great either.. Red wine was nice but lost a bit of appeal...More
