If you’re looking for some yummy Lebanese cuisine look no further. This is a great little neighbourhood place that is friendly and welcoming. They offer some really tasty traditional Lebanese food and happily bring you some bread, olives and crisp vegetables to your table to start you off. The menu offers you a nice selection and they have a really... More

We had the luck to give this place a shot and boy are we glad we did. It was a superb dinner for my wife and I. The wait staff was very attentive and suggested a nice bottle of red wine for us to try from Chateua Ka. Fantastic Lebanese wine. I then went for the 3 types of meat... More

Went there as we stayed locally and they claimed to be halal. Service was nice and the old gentleman was a real character. We ordered the hummus and it was pretty standard stuff. The flat bread was out of a packet and cold, not fresh. The complimentary olives left a bitter taste in the mouth. My wife ordered the mix... More

Excellent service, recommendations from the waiter, lovely pacing of the meal and amazing flavorful food. We ordered the chicken, beef and lamb mixed grill and the sea bass with several vegetarian starters and a bottle of wine for 4 people. Plenty of food, variety of tastes, and $25 per person. Voila!!

My wife and I were staying at the Ibis in Cambronne, Paris and had seen El Fares on a previous visit, but had not ventured to have a meal there. The owner greeted us with a warm smile and from the outset was charming and only too willing to share with us his love of Lebanese food and wine. The... More

We stopped by chance and did not regret it. Staff is really welcoming and make a true effort; they speak several languages and are more than flexible in accodomating specific requests (for instance they volunteered to have the chef prepare a special 'all veggies' plate for my wife). They have formulas with good value for money. We got the special... More

The El Fares we visited for lunch was located at 166. Boulevard de Grenelle in the 15 th Arr. We walked by it after dinner one evening and it was packed so we tried it for lunch the next day and it was packed again! The menu is extensive and authentic! We started with the homos, a light, very smooth... More

I have eaten at El Fares many, many time (take out and sit-in) and their starters - both cold and hot - are excellent, including the sambousek and the falafel. Their chich taouk (chicken) is also really very good. The service is always exceptional, and the prices are very reasonable. Big enough restaurant to easily accommodate larger groups.

Recommended via trip advisor hotel guests, menu with English translation which not always done in most places, food excellent and in good size portions. Lebanese coffee was very strong and thick! Service was very good.
