I happened upon this restaurant based purely on the reviews and its close proximity to the nearby Marriot. Usually I would go for a safe pizza option but as there is nothing nearby (that I've already tried or dismissed) I was just browsing based on location. Having never tasted Ethiopian food this was a bit of a punt! Its location... More

You have to go there just for the restaurant as it is not right next to major attractions in Paris. Ethiopian cuisine is not that widespread, so you won't be disappointed by the food, the way to eat it and the people there. There are more cosy places than this one, but it deserves a visit if you're looking for... More

I have tasted Ethiopian cuisine before and was delighted. Entoto offers delicious food in an Ethiopian interior. I tried the legumes with lemon and the spicy chicken, finishing with ice cream. Be prepared to eat with fingers, just as is done in Ethiopia. If you are looking for an authentic dinning experience, Entoto should be on your list! Service is... More

Very original place and tasty food. The restaurant is located in a very quiet area. The service is good. Some dishes might be spicy. I ordered a big platter of different dish to share and it was very good. For the dessert i had the home made chocolat cake which was very good. Definitely worth trying.

This is only my second visit to an Ethiopian restaurant, the last being in London, but was certainly my favorite so far and a great restaurant in its own standing. although unsuspecting on the exterior once you enter you are immersed in traditional decoration and music. The tables are simple but colourful and the walls adorned with all things Africa.... More

I went to Entoto to try Ethiopian food for the first time. Yes, I don't have a benchmark, but the food gave me a high (figuratively). Their service was great. One of them even spoke in English, which made it easier for us. We were looking at something vegetarian, and we had our various choices! The food was similar to... More

I loved the fact that it is in a secluded location. Its like a discovery. Small little place, but great food. My first time at an Ethiopian place and as a veggie, I loved it!

Loved the food, and this place. We were four adult family members together, looking for a leisurely meal together, "en famille" on a Saturday night. We had 7:30 p.m. reservations. We ordered a group platter and then picked the stuff we liked most and ordered more dishes of that. We had two bottles of wine along the way. It took... More

Great food, if you like it a bit spicy. Nice quiet restaurant. Prices are very reasonable. I even tried the Ethiopian beer (St George). The waitress spoke English so ordering the exotic fare was not a problem. Definitely a place to visit again.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighbourhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the centre of Paris this neighbourhood has something for every hour of the day.
