On my own that night and went upon a recommendation, sat at bar struck up conversations with others at the bar. This was easy to do as the staff is friendly and enthusiastic and helpful with menu suggestions, including wonderful wine, and the result was a happy crowd. Food excellent!

We walked in off the street on the off chance we could have lunch or make a booking. We were fortunate to be able to have lunch straight away. Small cosy place, very helpful staff who readily explained menu to us and advised on wine to accompany our selection. Food and wine were both excellent and great value. We certainly... More

This is a great little restaurant in the 6th. It's cozy but very lively with a local feel to it. Talk to the people at the next table - it's almost impossible not to! The menu is not huge, but you don't need a lot of choices if what you choose is wonderful. And it was. The cod ceviche was... More

We had dinner on Saturday there. The food was tasty and with a bit creative and unusual taste. Good fish and starters. Nice district to walk, despite of tourists quite local place.

Considering that the restaurant is called "Fish la Boissonerie" there was not much fish on the menu. I like it when menus are short as it means fresh. Of the four offered main courses, one was a veggie option, one lamb and two fish. Either squid or rougets (mullet). I took the mullet but was disappointed - two pieces of... More

The place was packed every time we passed by, we waited for half an hour to get a table. SO glad we did. The dinner was so good we had to come back the following night. Wine was wonderful. The chestnut soup was out of this world, something I would have never thought could be tasty. Cod entree by far... More

PRO'S: This restaurant combines a traditional Paris bistrot with a truly fine wine bar in one location. Our table had a whole roasted chicken with various starters dishes. We also had a mix of delicious, fairly priced house wines, Rhone valley rouge & Rhone Roussane that are above the quality in most bistrots. If you like fine wine with dinner... More

It´s not very confortable, it's a small crowded place. The service is nice. The food is prepared with care, I liked it. The wine was very good if a bit expensive.

This restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel. We walked past a couple nights and noticed that it was packed. So, we decided to try to get a table and went early just after they opened. They had a couple tables that were ok for walk ins and we got a great one right by the window. The... More

The taking point of this meal was the cheese and mushroom desert. Never thought this combination would work, but slices of mushrooms with semisoft cheese was delicious. The second talking point was the gleaming white cod and how it was cooked. It was the best ever according to one of my companions who knows a thing or two about fish.... More
