Staff was good to us as non-French speakers, didn't make us feel bad and spoke good English. Food was fine, just nothing special and not worth the prices. We got the terrine starter and felt it had a nice spread of flavor and texture, but...More

We dined at Atelier Maitre Albert during a recent two day, one night stay in Paris. The decor of the restaurant is warm and inviting and the noise level allowed for quiet conversation. The location was a very convenient short walk from our hotel in...More

I was very disappointed with the food here, especially after reading very many positive reviews. It could possibly been due to the fact the restaurant was fully booked. The terrine for starters was delicious and perfect for myself however the chicken was a let down....More

After an hour without our meals, we had to start pushing them to do something. Usually a restaurant would bring something as an apology while waiting, but when we pushed for something to satiate our hunger, they brought some watery carrot soup. When our lamb...More

Unfortunately although the food at this restaurant is super delicious and well worthy of a high star rating , the service makes for rather an unpleasant rushed evening. I would not return purely on that basis. The waitress was curt, verging on rude, and gave...More

The service was dreadful. It was not a language problem since our party of 6 included two Europeans fluent in 3 languages. It was just a painfully slow service with a wait staff that apparently preferred to be elsewhere and were surly and indifferent. The...More

So this is where all those Parisien business groups meet for lunch! It's just behind Notre Dame on the Left Bank. It's quiet (You can hear yourself speak) It's warm (A giant fire in an antique fire place) It is very good. It looks pricey-...More

Arrived to the aroma of spit roast chicken and a warm welcome. I ate the terrine, the roast chicken with mashed potatoes and a rice pudding. All accompanied by a modestly priced but most likeable wine Loire red. After a serious bought of indigestion resulting...More

My daughter and I visited last week. The location is perfect, directly across from Notre Dame. We shared the chicken and potatoes which were fantastic. Service was on point and the atmosphere with fireplace and roasting spits was very nice and relaxing after a long...More

Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the
residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon
never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional
cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets
surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide
eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just
next door and the prototypical terraced French
brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this

A highly contemporary rôtisserie in the heart of old Paris

A log fire flickering within a vast stone fireplace; meat, poultry and fish sizzling in the rôtisserie; around sparkling tables of grey slate guests are seated in the midst of this remarkable spectacle, where roasted duck breasts, monkfish tails and pork ribs are served straight from the spit to the plate. The tone is set: generous plates, first-rate produce and authentic cooking.

After remodelling the interior of Restaurant Guy Savoy, Jean-Michel Wilmotte set to work here: austere décor, the finest materials, intimate spaces.
