We had dinner here last night, it was amazing. We had been disappointed by a few other Paris restaurants so for us, the pressure was on to eat well. We were very pleased, not only is the decor stunning, the food was amazing as well. I had the pepper beef, it was perfect, cooked exactly to my liking, my husband... More

We had booked this restaurant before we left Australia after a recommendation. We were NOT disappointed. The whole experience was magnificent. Great French food, wine, service and a decor whicj could not be bettered. Thanks for a wonderful night

We loved this restaurant. The setting was absolutely exquisite in a beautifully decorated historic building. The food was delicious, with generous portions sizes, especially for the desserts. We loved the classic French dinner service - so much attention to detail - the wait staff took very good care of us and did it with French flare.

I'd been wanting to dine here for a few years, mainly for the gorgeous decor. There seemed to be some mixed reviews on TripAdvisor, but I need not have worried. The food was excellent and the service too. Worth every cent.

Went there for an official dinner and the experience was really bad. I am allergic to seafood and requested for something without seafood...firstly the reaction of the waiter was unacceptable and then served me a salad (see below). Food was not good at all and the soufflé they served had a very strong smell of raw eggs....very bad experience!

I had wanted to try this restaurant for many years, and finally made it happen on this trip. Walking down from the Champs Elysees and nearing the end of the street, I asked a passerby if he knew where it was. We were right across the street, but the building was covered with scaffolding. No wonder I couldn't find it!... More

The restaurant looks retro with a relaxed atmosphere. The food was tasty for all 4 of us. I ordered Fillet de Bar & vegetables and it was a good choice.

La Fermette Marburg sits in a lovely part of Paris and the restaurant sits well with its surroundings. The interior is beautiful and certainly worth a look. We were a large group on a set menu so the food was somewhat limited. The dishes were decent and simple but not amazing and the service a little slow and disjointed and... More

This restaurant has what must be one of the most stunning interiors of any restaurant in the world. The food is also good. We went for the tasting menu - a misnomer as it's more like a 5 course meal. Foie gras, lobster bisque, sea bass, duck and although somewhat sickly sweet, the most delicious and light souffle ever. For... More

La Fermette Marbeuf 1900 restaurant in Paris just a few steps from the Avenue George V and the Champs-Elysees is also the shortest route into Belle Epoque Paris of a century ago. This jewel of a restaurant, dating from 1898, was rediscovered in the course of renovation thirty years ago and it must have been like opening King Tut's tomb. There are wonderful things here: Art Nouveau mosaic and stained glass sunflowers, peacocks, dragonflies, beautiful women, cast iron pillars, and a soaring glass ceiling. Chef Gilbert Isaac mainly sticks to French classic dishes, like chicken liver pate with onion marmalade, whole grilled seabass flamed in anise, and rhum babas. This is a hotspot for celebrity France to see and be seen.
