Had an enjoyable meal after a long day touring various sights. Finished off with crepes flambeed in Grand Mariner. Very nice. Good service. Unpretentious.

I have come there with a group of customers for business dinner. The place is cosy, but still spacious to host many guests and larger groups like ours. It has very relaxed atmosphere and french taste about the decoration. As to food we loved every bit of it, menu has options for every budget. It consists of french cuisine classics... More

It's a small intimate dining place with lovely ambience. The food were amazing and friendly service. Went there during the afternoon and we managed to get a table without reservation. Ordered Foie gras and prawn salad for starters. The main courses were steak and seabass with scallops. The dishes were amazing and reasonably priced. Definitely would visit there again when... More

Even though this is within site of notra dame this is a real French restaurant. Great food, great wine and great service. The snails are fantastic, mains perfect and deserts huge. All of which are priced responsible considering the location

We had read several good reviews as well as been given personal recommendations to visit this restaurant. Darling atmosphere (we were seated on the second floor) and not too crowded. Our server was pleasant but not eager to help us make sense of the menu (not in English). Was blatantly rude to another customer but they did not make any... More

I'm French and I took my mother to Le Petit Chatelet as part of a surprise birthday trip to Paris. I booked a table for 9pm a couple of days earlier. The first impression wasn't great. We arrived and our table had clearly been added as an extra: the room has two long tables on both sides and they had... More

The service and quality were superb. We went there twice. We just happened to stumble upon it and were so enchanted by its appearance we thought we would give it a whirl. I ordered the lamb which was grilled on an open fire in the small dining room and my husband ordered the duck. From the appetizers, to the main... More

We were staying in the quartier latin for a week, and as you do, you walk around a few street in search of a pace for dinner. Walked pass this one, but everything other place we saw after were not as attractive as this one, so we went back. We sat outside, and ordered one of the best dinners we... More

My daughter and her husband wanted to give my husband and I a special dinner our first night in Paris. What a charming little restaurant. The atmosphere was what one would expect of Paris. My granddaughters who are 9 and 8 had the escargots and raved. When a 9 year old girl raves about escargot, you know it's good. I... More

I've had eaten already twice at this restaurant and food has always been more than great. Fish is awesome and meat too. And desserts are also fantastic! The worst bit about this place is the service. They can be not too friendly (well, maybe it's just a Parisian thing) and if the room is packed, it's definitely slow.

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighbourhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighbourhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
