Lovely little restaurant in a quiet street facing Les Halles Saint Germain. Outdoor seating for warm days. Much nicer than busy and noisy tourist spots a few blocks away. Simple but very good food. I had the lentil soup and baked salmon and both were...More

Little is beautiful. The real French bistrot tradition with excellent results in a tiny restaurant. Os à moelle, joue de bœuf, salmon or sautéed de pétoncles. All tasty with very honest beaujolais. Smiling service. Many reasons to return.

10/10, such a lovely small restaurant! Staff were a treasure and the food to match. Took my girlfriend here for a birthday treat as she visited here on her first trip to Paris when she moved here three years ago and it didn’t disappoint!

This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in France! It is tiny so reservations are a must, but it is more than worth it. Le Petit Vatel serves traditional, classic French home-cooking. Most dishes are simple and perfectly executed, nothing is overwrought or unnecessarily...More

Had a great date night here - very small restaurant with little tables and a tight squeeze - but absolutely loved the food. Had the clams as an appetizer - they were smaller than I'm used to in the states but seasoned to perfection. The...More

Great little place with only a few tables - very cosy and intimate. Sat outside on the sidewalk watching the world go by. Great service. Excellent bottle of rosé wine. Had bone marrow too start. Excellent portion, fleur de sel...looked wonderful...except...a bit underdone which meant...More

ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants.
Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine
art school and small museums hide in unassuming
squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the
oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented
