We had heard of Les Fables from others and were looking forward to an evening worthy of a Michelin star restaurant. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The service was lacklustre with more than the usual Paris disdain, but while the food was good it was not that much better than the more common bistros which can be found anywhere in Paris.... More

The restaurant is situated near a fountain mid of many other restaurants The service is good. The plates are very nicely presented .However i found the fish portion very small.

We went to lunch, and ordered the lunch menu, which is one starter and one ,main dish. Both dishes were quite average, not bad, but not special in any kind. The service is good, and so is the atmosphere.

PROS: I ordered the scallops, which were fresh and light in a buttery sauce. The soufflé and the other desserts were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is luxurious and modern, and the tables were spaced out enough that we had privacy. CON: The lamb entree was not very good. It was a small sliver of lamb and just a ton of... More

The quality of this restaurant does not deserve a Michelin star. Service, food and cleanliness (towels in the bathroom weren't very clean) were bad, although the atmosphere was alright. To be fair, the appetiser was just above average. We ordered the red mullet (though it was too salty), mullet tartar and crispy egg yolk. The latter two were pretty good,... More

We read about this restaurant in the a newspaper and must say we expected a better night out than we had. We ordered a turbot and when it came it took ages for the waiter to prepare it and the plates weren't hot enough. By the the time we finished our meal the fish was cold. In a Michelin one... More

The restaurant is easy to find and the design is tight and modern. We had the menu with six dishes, two starters, two mains, two dessert. All of dishes were tasty and inspirering. All in all a very nice restaurant if you want to go for a good meal in a modern restaurant in a less expensive michelin restaurant.

Went there on March 16-2017. Had to book 2 weeks ahead of time for a Friday evening. The food is exceptional, a perfect blend of Mediterranean cuisine and rich French traditional meals. But but but the service was bad. No class, acting as if they would work in a school cantine. Never available, never a smile, no eye contact. Fix... More

After reading some reviews I decided to give it a try here at Lea Fables de la Fontaine in Paris. My friends and I order the €25 set lunch and on the side we order the crispy egg yolk appetiser and Rosè wine....to me everything is good except the main dish is too salty and very much taste like Asian... An incredibly nice place where one can enjoy several excellent dishes with a good drink. The food was incredibly good, it was the quality of food, we were satisfied with a 3 course menu, there was water in the cups and on the table at all times when the waiter filled consecutively when they were out walking. It's a quiet... More

Fables of La Fontaine took the time to embellish. To welcome the new kitchen of Julia, the room wants to be more spacious and light, thanks to its increased capacity and windows to admire the fountain of Mars from its table. On the walls are stone walls contrast with the industrial lines of windows. The decoration is in tune with the times with a solid oak furniture, handmade, art of the table uncluttered and very light tones inspired naturalness. David Bottreau to head the restaurant for ten years told the kitchen Julia SEDEFJIAN, formerly second restaurant, went head today. Together they reflected on a new kitchen, which is the new life given to the restaurant: gourmet cuisine tinged with a bistronomic generosity. They dust off the gourmet kitchen, and make accessible star, with only watchword quality and creativity. The kitchen retains its identity by selecting marine classics of the marine world, but also delicious and unknown products to the general public. The noble products such as sole, lobster, caviar are available now in suggestion, according to arrivals. Seasonal products are showcased, guaranteeing freshness preserved, and starred cuisine is reflected in specific executions, controlled, in order to rediscover and exhaling in the flavors
