My companion and I enjoyed every aspect of our recent visit to Les Papilles. The restaurant was quaint and cosy with a "well worn" vibe. Our host was charming and helpful. The wine he recommended with the meal was excellent and complemented the dinner selection....More

What a charming find! Our set menu included the best cream of broccoli soup, delicious and perfectly cooked duck, Brie, and amazing speculoos chocolate moose for dessert. We had no choice and that made it even better - couldn’t have been easier or better. And...More

Agree with all the other positive reviews. They handled a vegetarian request easily and successfully. We went with the manager’s wine suggestions and they were excellent and moderately priced. Tables in Paris are always too close for me, but that is Europe. Gives a chance...More

Read great things and we were lucky enough to snag the last table here on a Friday night without reservations. Ate a totally delicious fixed four-course meal. Zucchini soup, beef, cheese, and some yummy creamy orange dessert. Can't say anything about the wine since we...More

Quaint restaurant in the Latin quarter of Paris. Excellent four course set menu (see photo). The set menu changes daily but I'm sure it will be excellent! Wine is pay by the bottle and quite pricey but don't let that put you off! Great restaurant...More

I wanted to love Les Papilles but it was a let down. Pre-set menu of unnecessarily huge portions of average tasting food. Soup was very heavy and bland, meat was fatty and the dessert was average. The idea of picking your own wine bottle by...More

It was our first time in France and we wanted to try some authentic French cuisine. Les Papilles offers a set 4 course menu for 38 euro. They offer one menu only -we had cream of courgette soup with roasted vegetables, bacon and croutons, followed...More

During your visit to Paris, you may occasionally encounter a restaurant such as Les Papilles, which only seats reserved guests for meals twice in an evening, usually at 7 and 9:30 p.m. At Les Papilles, which was recommended to us by a former resident of...More

This was a unique experience for us. The dinner is a prix fixe 38 Euro menu, with everyone served the same 4-course meal. There's no written menu, but the owner comes to your table to describe what will be served that night. Beverages are not...More

This is a small, store-front place in the Latin Quarter, excellent food but no menu: you eat what they serve. The soup was an excellent cream of cauliflower and the main dish was beef-shoulder slow cooked for many hours and truly delicious and soft. The...More

The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life,
architectural splendour and ongoing merriment. The
small streets are filled with classical buildings,
student bars and lively eateries while the squares are
dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined
by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin
once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which
celebrates the great men and women of France. During

Yes. It is safer to reserve as the place is small. You can write an email to the restaurant, address on their website. English works fine and in case you have any allergies/intolerances they are able to adapt the fixed menu.
