We asked our hotel to book a reservation for another restaurant that was unfortunately no availability. They came up with the suggestion of Maison Rostang, which they kindly advised was expensive and would fit with how they viewed us as guests of their hotel. It was a 10 minute walk away from our hotel, which was only 3 minutes away... More

Somewhere to go to if you want to remember it for the rest of your life. There were mainly two outcomes for me: (1) the chef managed to reconcile me with white truffle (2) Now I really understand the difference between a one star Michelin restaurant and a two stars one... Expensive but worth it.

We have been to Maison Rostang a few times since 1999. Impressive then impressive now. Service is super professional yet friendly. Wine list as good as ever, tasting menu is a great experience of great cooking without going into the too exotic. Will go back again!

We took their proposed 6 course menu accompanied with wine glasses. It is a real experience with great service. Plan minimum two hours to really enjoy the place.

Michel Rostang is now only consulting, but the restaurant remains excellent. Though very expensive, it is possible to eat here more cheaply than some of the other Michelin-starred restaurants by, for example, choosing the house specialty of pike with lobster sauce, priced as an appetizer but sized like an entree.

From the moment we arrived we knew we were in for a special evening. From amuse bouches to starters to mains to dessert we were overwhelmed with both the presentation and quality of each dish. The service was perfect and our lack of the French language was no problem at all.

A first Michelin experience for us, but what an experience! Friendly but professional staff who were attentive, knowledgable yet unobtrusive. The food is impossible to describe with justice. Every moment was perfect. Although my wife and I speak very little French, the staff made us feel very comfortable. So elegant and refined. The meal was amazing from the entrée through dessert. The sommelier recommended the perfect wines for our meal. The cheeses -- the selection was so extensive, but our server knew them all and made excellent recommendations.... More

We booked this restaurant with my wife for our anniversary . It resulted to be one of the best meals I ever had in a restaurant. We had a degustation menu around truffles, and was really a series of dishes with perfect and surprising combinations culminating with an unforgettable dessert. Perfect service, infinite wine list and excellent atmosphere.

Because there is no nicest stories than those which carry on, the restaurant created by Michel Rostang in 1978, today becomes Maison Rostang. Beyond a simple name, this is a new chapter which begins for the family with the chef Nicolas Beaumann, perpetuating great classic dishes and contemporary creations, sharing the same excellence and conviviality will. Maison Rostang seals the derivation of Michel, his 2 daughters Caroline and Sophie, and Nicolas Beaumann upon taste and transmission. Trained by Michel Rostang, Nicolas Beaumann is his natural lengthening, instilling a modern touch in the cuisine. Precise plating, sauces as smooth as light and surprising pairing, always in a gourmet way, a talent reflected by his signature dishes like the Frog's legs in a green suit, sweet garlic and roast artichokes, tangy watercress sauce or the Blue Lobster preserved with chestnut butter in 3 services: artichoke risotto and à la presse juice with Condrieu wine, the claw in a barigoule sauce, the joints in small ravioli. Together, the 2 chefs compose a cuisine which pays tribute to French tradition without dissociating from our time. They design a four-hands menu in which the classic works together with the present.
