This was our 3rd visit to Paris and we took advantage of the 84 degree, sunny weather, by eating outside on the sidewalk. Strolling along the vibrant streets, we settled at this authentic-looking, French eatery. We ordered Salmon, which came with mashed potatoes and some...More

A great restaurant. First atete here ten years ago and this time everything is still as good. Pleasant staff, swift service and excellent food and not vastly expensive. Will be back when we visit Paris next.

We had dinner here and it was so good. We had the sea bass and the lobster risotto. It was delicious. The waiter was so helpful and friendly as we do not speak French and even brought us some Mussels as a welcome to France...More

I need to give credits to the chef for preparing such a good food for us. No doubt about the food quality but they seriously need to improve their service.

I just love this restaurant. It looks nothing special from the outside but you'd be wrong if you thought that. It is part of a chain but you wouldn't think it judging by the quality of the food and wine and personal but discreet attention...More

Exactly the type and size of restaurant I like when in Paris. There was confusion and I got the wrong main course but I did not mind. Fantastic soufflé as dessert. Great wines.

Description
Vin et Maree Suffren restaurant in Paris a short walk from the Eiffel Tower in the chic 7th arrondissement is rather the baby of this popular restaurant group. Seating just 64 behind its marine blue frontage, the smart, tranquil dining room is decorated in luxurious modern style in tones of cream and rust with white table linens, mahogany furniture and an air the French call ‘feutree’ which means, roughly, that you can hear your own conversation without shouting. The menu features the very best quality of seasonal fish brought fresh from small boat fishermen mostly in Brittany and Normandy. Preparation tends to be simple to allow the piscatorial flavours to shine through and wines tend toward the whites for the same reason. Service is particularly good here.
