I don't even know where to begin with this review. This was by far the best meal I have ever eaten and it far exceeded my expectations. I would suggest this restaurant over L'Arpege any day (and have repeatedly recommended it to my friends) and will be returning to Paris soon, just so I can eat lunch at Alleno again.... More

Went to Alleno Paris (Pavillon LeDoyen) twice on my recent European trip, once for lunch and once for dinner. At lunch did the special Le Signature- A multicourse lunch for 78 euros- a good price for a 3-star Michelin restaurant. At dinner we were treated like regulars and given special service with dishes added and created just for us, since... More

I visited this restaurant on 1st April, 2017 with another 3 friends as it was our friend's birthday occasion. We read the review about how good this place is and decided to spend the Birthday occasion while we visited Paris - so we reserved the table since January, 2017. During our visit, we first were enjoying the food very much,... More

My husband had booked 'a romantic weekend in Paris', what he then produced was 2 tickets to watch France vs Scotland in the six nations at Stade de France!! So of course he felt he should make amends by taking me for a wonderful meal. And what a meal it was. From the first greeting to the final Au Revoir.... More

I came to Ledoyen for lunch based on a friends recommendation and it's stellar reputation. The lunch menu is a bit more reasonably priced and I didn't need a 3hr meal. It was excellent. The sauces were amazing and what really made all the dishes work. Highlights were the avocado millefeuille, scallops with spinach, chicken with ginger and truffle, 1000... More

Our dinner here left my friends and me questioning the accuracy of the Michelin rating system. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, but the food left a great deal to be desired, and the presentation was often unattractive. We ordered the tasting menu, for 340 Euros per person. An amuse-bouche arrived lying on top of the coiled and blackened skin... More

Fairly friendly service although a little bit rushed. The menus are very creative in a multifarious manner for sure yet we found the pre-starter smoked eel rather scary... We were glad that the eel was only for decoration. The passion fruit creme brûlée was something impressively new and a healthier alternative of the traditional ones. We appreciated the creativity and... More

The restaurant's location, secluded away right off the Champs Elysee makes for a very charming venue. As expected, the staff are very welcoming and polite, extremely attentive and very helpful. 135 euro lunch menus provide a chance to use quality produce in interesting ways. But this one started off a bit ordinary, with unexciting amuse bouches, and an avocado dish that was mainly slices of avocado. Interest was raised when an en-croute object was cut and mixed in an interesting white bowl. The cut dough was refilled and the outcome... More

Description
Since July 1st, 2014, Yannick Alleno has taken over the culinary direction of the Pavillon Ledoyen, the iconic 3 star Michelin restaurant in the heart of Paris, on the Champs-Elysees. Continuing the legacy of his famed predecessors and a tradition that has continued for generations, Yannick Alleno is managing this historic building and direct the staff of the 45-seat restaurant with his creativity, passion and pursuit of culinary excellence. Offering an exceptional dining experience, guests are invited to choose one key ingredient - vegetable, meat or fish - for their main dish. Guided by this choice, Chef Alleno then constructs the entire meal around the core dish, including the starter and dessert. For example, the poularde topped with seeds poached with Jura wine stock and panais extract will be best served with the duck foie gras poached with Rivesaltes wine and pear in a sugar crust as a starter, or the crab meat in squid leaf to end the orange bead cinnamon foam for dessert. Passionate about French cuisine, Yannick Alleno has pioneered new research on modern sauces and introduces these new techniques into each dish.
