Quite expensive (~20e for a main), agonizingly slow service (and not nice enough to catch up for the speed), I took the Milanese cutlet with pasta. It was dry. Will not go again.

Trying to find someone where for nice a pizza and pasta lunch, we stumbled upon Fuxia - their terrace is a bit shaded so sat inside begrudgingly but were more than pleasantly surprised with the service and the food. Had truffle risotto with pumpkin which was delicious, a bolognese and an arrabiatta with a great plummy spicy sauce. I think... More

Nice, bit trendy but not too cool. Reasonably priced (starter to share, two mains w no drinks €42) I had a good lasagne, nothing special but very tasty. Bread was excellent. Fried mozzarella balls were amazing.

I have been here 3 times, and the one in Saint - Honoré a couple more times. The menu is simple, responding to those who like Italian food in a fine way. I have tried the Melanzana parmiggiano and the ravioli with the ricotta spinach filling. The portions are large, fulfilling the appetites and the taste is amazing. I also... More

After returning from a nice river cruise down the Seine, we disembarked at basin d'arsenal and walked through Le Marais on our way back to the Latin Quarter, cam across this place that looked busy and inviting. Luckily they had one spare table left, grabbed it and had a lovely evening. Not really a touristy place as all the tables... More

We just happened to walk by, had lunch in the Fuxia, and were positively surprised. The pasta was al dente, and the condiment very tasty, with fresh ingredients. The restaurant was very busy, but the waitress was smiling, helpful and efficient - she seemed to enjoy her job! On the whole a pleasant lunch, rounded off with good coffee, at... More

We never miss this restaurant when we visit Paris. The staff are always friendly and the service is fast, the pasta is cooked al dente and there is a good choice of different sauces. The house red and white wines are also a good buy. But do come early to get a table for dinner as this place is very... More

We visited this Cantina three times in a month. Each time we had friendly service and good food. I can speak to their salads as yummy, and their shrimp/asparagas rositto as even more yummy. The wait people are attentive although sometimes you have to be patient because they are running around a break-neck speed. A few of the wait people... More

Food was perfect for a comforting Italian dinner. Very busy restaurant full of happy groups and couples, but the friendly staff made room for this solo diner and looked after me very well. I tried out my poor French on them but they were happy to talk in English.

I ordered pasta and was disappointed by the fact that it was obviously not cooked on order. The sauce tasted like dolmio sauces from the supermarket. It was far too sugary to be homemade. Basically not a place for real good Italian pasta. It is also quite expensive for low quality.

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendour. This neighbourhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
