Very up market but amazing place to sample a huge variety of macaroons. The assistant was very helpful in this very tasteful and up market shop. 7 macaroons will set you back €16. The box was so nice I couldn't bring myself to throw it away. As for the macaroons. They were well worth the money

There was a long line out the door to try what some say are the best macarons in Paris. The employees speak English and a very helpful with suggesting flavors. They offer classic and seasonal flavors, with the seasonal flavors being better in my opinion. I found the seasonal flavors here are more unique than Laudree. I thought the classic... More

When you go here, you know you are going to the highest of quality. The rose palmegranite croissants are incredible. Also, the special seasonal flavor of macaron they have at different times are not to be missed!!

Everything looked so good. So many delicious macaron flavours. Would have loved to get the other desserts. Had apricot and pistachio, chocolate, and caramel flavours, and they were amazing. Service was friendly and they even gave us some chocolate samples which were so delicious.

The best pastry chef, the one who inspired us. Every macaroon is a delight. You can visit the boutiques as many times as you like because they change the flavors through the seasons.

The macarons are definitely one of the best in town. The macarons may change due to seasons. I tried jasmin, chocolate, pistachio and milk chocolate with passion fruit. Jasmin is my favorite, pistachio is the second best. You must eat macarons when in Paris

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighbourhood Profile
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighbourhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighbourhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
