Although named Le Petit Jardin, the jardin or garden section was closed for the season which is a miss as I am sure it makes all the difference. Upscale food with very good service, especially the young woman. Not a restaurant where one would wear blue jeans. Very knowledgeable Sommelier who made an excellent recommendation.

We went for a business dinner and we sat by the open courtyard. We felt immediately welcome with many well-dressed waiters waiting by our table. Food was great and service was better than above. Wine was always topped up and the waiter appeared as soon as you wanted to order something. Price wise it's not the cheapest by any means... More

I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Montpellier. Service is prompt, there are very nice indoor & outdoor areas to eat & the atmosphere is so relaxing. The waiter suggested a red wine to accompany our steak & when they arrived, both were delicious.

We visited this restaurant on the endorsement of our hosts, this is a hidden secret in the midst of the busy city. On arrival in Montpellier we went straight to the restaurant to make a reservation for lunch, we would never have noticed this restaurant without the recommendation. The service was outstanding and the food sublime: a highlight of our... More

After walking through the old parts of Montpellier we finally found this wonderful restaurant where you can dine outside in a beautiful garden. We stayed inside because the night was a bit chilly. We chose from the € 39 3 course menu and enjoyed every bite of it. Do not miss it when in Montpellier.

The food was amazing and presented in a very nice way. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the location is just amazing in a little relaxing garden in the center, in front of the cathedral. I really recommend it to those visiting Montpellier for a small city trip

Nicely located in the back garden of a fairly modest house in an alley. Good, modern cuisine with a real French touch. The dishes were rich enough to feel very well fed after three courses. Two factors for not scoring 5: the waiter did not change glasses when we changed wine and when the neighboring table was occupied by six... More

We visited Le Petit Jardin for lunch, and despite it being a very hot day, a natural breeze keeps this garden eatery cool and pleasant. The cuisine is exceptional, but not too heavy. Try the chicken in mushroom sauce. It's worth coming back for. The place caters to a fun crowd, and despite its higher-than-average prices for Montpellier, it's very... More

Beautifully presented food in a cool garden following a hot day. Service was impeccable and our bill of 100 euros for two included a nice bottle of rose.

We enjoyed this place but Montpellier is not an expensive place overall so...The menu is quite limited in the choices essentially two Prix fixe menus. My wife, son and prospective son in law got goat cheese gazpacho which was quite good and my daughter and I got foie gras which was good as well. The three got monkfish which was... More
