We came to this restaurant 7 years ago and had a memorable meal so had to come back with our family. Best dinner we have had in France by far. Delicious food - the monkfish and chorizo was a standout but all entrees, mains and desserts were beautiful. Service was also excellent. We will definitely return again.

As a resident of the area, I have been to most restaurants, but Bec a Vin was never on my radar. My mistake! We had a lovely dinner recently in the charming courtyard on a balmy end of summer evening. Lovely loacation and a great meal. Good attentive service, English spoken if you need and a sensible menu and price.... More

We visited only two serious restaurants during our stay in Uzes, a white tablecloth restaurant in a hotel, and the less expensive Le Bec a Vin which nevertheless turned out to be the most memorable in terms of good food in a unique atmosphere. The name means literally "The Beak of Wine" more correctly I think "Wine Spout". It has... More

We ate at Le Bec a vin following a late reservation made for us by our host at our B&B. But we could have just walked up on a wet Thursday night in Oct. It was roughly half full. We ate pork and duck dishes - in a simple french style and perfectly cooked, with local selection from a very... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us and made reservations and we were not disappointed! A romantic setting in the gardens under the plane trees, great food and great service. The atmosphere was lovely!

We made a last minute decision to dine at Le Bec a vin. As it is a pretty popular restaurant, they told us to return later if we wanted a patio table. This part of the restaurant has a very romantic appeal. We hadn't expected it to be so lovely. The staff speak English, and try to accommodate everyone. They... More

The interior of the restaurant is really well thought through the photo's on here do not really do it justice. On a warm evening it really is a great space in which to eat. The menu is concise with some great options options and the food is well presented and of a high quality. The staff are busy and attentive... More

Nice upscale restaurant in Uzès that is on a quiet street...pretty easy to find. The garden dining, weather permitting, was very French and very romantic...it had several layers of steps, etc. so it might be difficult for people with handicaps. The food was excellent and nicely presented and the staff was multilingual...I just loved the setting...you felt like you were... More

Everything you want in a restaurant here. Nicely prepared food and friendly service. This is a truly local french restaurant in a tourist hub. Well advised to book as justifiably popular but we walked up about 7.10 pm and they were pleased to see us. 30 minutes later the restaurant was full. Extensive wine list and well chosen, large selection... More

We booked online for a Sunday lunch and were very pleased with our choice. The food was excellent and included some lovely twists on traditional French cuisine. Presentation was very good, service was good and the wine list excellent. We'll be back!
