Having wondered around some of the over crowded (and much pricier) restaurants on the main roads, we happened across this cozy, traditional looking restaurant. We were the only people in there to start with; but it did gradually get busier, with a mixture of couples and small groups. The food really was superb. The scallops to start were among the... More

A simple restaurant with a clear menu in English and French. This was our third visit in as many years and our meal was both reasonable in price and delicious. Not the busy type of restaurant where you have difficulty in conversation but simple in décor and table layout.(and don't be surprised if the cook brings out your meal)

French neighbourhood restaurant as I fondly remember them. Simple well-cooked well-presented food from a set lunch menu of 4 choices of starters & mains. Did not make it to dessert as portions were generous. Pleasant friendly service. Convenient for the church of the Jacobins, 5mins from the Capitol & the river

We dined here on a Friday evening and were the only customers. The food was hot, well presented and very reasonable. We both had the foie gras for starters and then I had the salmon which was perfectly cooked and very tasty. My husband had the white fish and again enjoyed it very much. The wine was very reasonable and... More

We went here based on reviews from tripadvisor and as we really wanted some good seafood we chose here. Firstly the restaurant is hard to find, there is no name on the doors, no name on the menu and the only place the name is mentioned apparently is on the awning which was not down when we went. There is... More

We ate in this little restaurant last year and we had difficulty finding it this time but it was well worth the effort. We prefered to eat inside due to the busy roads and were welcomed by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The mainly fish menu was simple yet interesting and was also available in English which helped us to... More

Three of us ate here on a brief visit to the city - we found the place by accident, tucked up a little street near the river, and chose it because the smell of cooking fish was so delicious. Le Poisson Vagabond is small and intimate and we were disappointed that there was only room for two tables for two... More

We ate here on the reviews from Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. It is difficult to find unless you know where to look as the name is on the awning., but worth the find. It is small, bubbly and intimate and our waiter was charming. The food was fseshly cooked and delicious, the wine reasonable and the overall experience... More

We loved this restaurant. The food is sophisticated and yet made with simple and quality ingredients. Everything was perfect. Even the wine. GOOD PRICES TOO!
