This was a great spot for a lunch or quick dinner. Pizza, pasta, burgers. We all liked what we ordered.

Staff here were really friendly and accommodating, as we struggle with our french. Meals were well made and very tasty. Creme Brulee was a stand out success. had a family business feel to it. Very good.....

We originally passed on this place because we saw burgers on the menu and decided to go to the place across the street, where we thought it was more authentic-French fare. That was a mistake. The place across the street was nice enough, but food tasted a bit like it was pre-made, then reheated. We decided to go to La... More

Walking in on a Saturday evening with no reservations, we were graciously seated together and made to feel at home. The place has a wonderful, warm family atmosphere and the food was magnificent for not only the adults but the children as well. Definitely get the banana split!!!

I was walking up and down the main drag and decided to try La Fringale - glad I did. I ordered the set 3 course meal and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Best pate I had in France!

Our choice of Restaurant was a good one. Warm and welcoming on a cold December night. We enjoyed one of the best cooked duck breast meals served in a honey sauce with frites and green salad. We asked for rare and it was perfect. The staff were attentive and made sure it was cooked exactly as we wanted. The wine... More

We spent one night in Bayeux after the summer season and came across this restaurant whilst trying to find somewhere to eat. Luckily for us, La Fringale was open and had an inviting menu to entice us in! Fortunately for the restaurant and for us(!) they were open and popular - we were surprised to find much of the town... Moules (mussels) and fries very good 13.80€. Huge salad with bacon, tomatoes, and fried potatoes 11.90€ was delicious. The cream puff desert with ice cream and hot chocolate 8€ was awesome. Cozy inside, earnest, hospitable wait staff. Food came out hot.

Walked in based on menu choice, price and number of people already in. The food, service and overall cost were all good. A carafe of wine was exceptional value. Friendly staff who didn't rush us at any time, but responded when needed. Nothing to fault it.
