Had a fleeting lunch here earlier this week... wan't expecting a great deal, but actually ended up with one of the better galettes I've had in a long while (it's all in the flour, you know...). Otherwise friendly, clean, civil, and so on (in a fairly unspectacular way), but aaaaaaah... that buckwheat... :)
For a restaurant that specializes in crepes I think they could do better, all ours tasted of soap or perfume or something If you order sweet crepes with orange and grand mariner you will get marmalade and raw alcohol which is a rather basic take on a Suzette even it's not advertised as such Maybe we caught them late on... We had a nice choice of all of the three courses and each serving was great. Views over the harbour and full of atmospher. Service very efficient and attentive, Not over priced considering the area
Dined here for an informal meal with friends. We all chose the fixed menu options- steak followed by crepes and served with a glass of wine. For the price of just 14 euros we found this good value for money and the quality was good. The crepes were most definitely the best part of the meal, made fresh and filled... More
Disappointing. After a lovely meal here in 2013 we returned this summer but wish we hadn't. The food was fine, but we ordered ham & chips from the children's menu (ordered in French- husband fluent) but lady serving us couldn't do so quickly enough. As as result, when our order arrived we thought the ham and chips large but assumed... More
Friendly staff at this lovely Bistro in Honfluer, right by the habour. Nice selection on the menu. I had egg and ham in a crepe, very tasty and reasonably priced. Some other diners were enjoying the fondue. Quick service and a nice tidy place.
Called in mid afternoon for crepes and coffee. How rude are the staff "very". I asked for a cup of tea with my crepe as it was afternoon and prefer tea, they only had Earl Grey so I asked for hot water and a slice of lemon instead. They had the cheek to charge me 4 euros 90 for that... More
Nice location at the end of the harbour near the parks and away from the main tourist drag. It is below the hotel Le Cheval Blanc which appears on many Honfleur views because of its location. It offers smart and cheerful decor in fresh red, white and black colours and blond wood. The moules-frites and the cafe gourmand dessert were both excellent,... More
The galettes where good and service was good. My chestnut cream crepe for desert was not good though. It is a acceptable affordable option a few steps from from the harbor.
