Friendly staff and really cool pictures on the walls. We only had a drink there and it was a relaxing break.

We had time for a meal before getting the ferry so chose La Voile Bleue on the basis of some very good TripAdvisor reviews. We weren't disappointed. The food was very good: langoustines starter for me and fish soup for husband. Then moules frites for main course. Excellent chips, tasty mussels. So it's basic bistro fare but done very well.... We didn't speak any French but staff were very friendly. Mussels were good but one portion probably would have done both of us! Only down side is it was 34C and no air con so was very hot inside

Nice and busy pub/restaurant overlooking the port and beach of Le Havre, with welcoming hosts always laughing and chatting with clients. We got a huge plate of fresh seafood (oysters, crab, giant shrimps, scampi, etc), a fish soup, moules frites (stewed mussels served with fries) and two glasses of wine for 60€. Fish was excellent and very fresh. The host... More

One of our group is gluten intolerant. In all of the ports and harbours we have visited we have never found such a complete lack of knowledge and interest in any restaurant. According to the staff all their food contained gluten, even the rice. When challenged they assured us that they had had this "problem" before and were sure that... More

We were recommended this place for "the best mussels in town" so we decided that this would be the place for our final holiday lunch before catching the afternoon ferry back to UK. The owner was very abrupt with us but found a table in the corner that was available. He set it up and took our order, Moules Frites... More

Family restaurant. Homemade food. For £50 we had a really good lunch with perfect mussels, wine and desserts with coffee. We will come back on our way back and definitely recommend this place for lunch!

It was wet, color and windy on LA Plage in Le Havre, so I ducked into this little place across the street from the beach for a late lunch.. The space was very nicely designed. Good music in the background, from blues to more modern grooves. The service was extremely friendly. I think my server is also the proprietor, a very... More

Fantastic food and wine, and the owner, a former boxer, is a great conversationalist. He brought us dessert at no charge when we protested that we were full, saying that we had to try the dessert for which his county is known. The location is beautiful, right on the sea.

We really enjoyed delicious mussels and baguette though the price was not expensive. The owner told us that he could not speak English well, but we didn't feel uneasy at all. He made us comfortable and tried to serve with doing his best. Highly recommended!!
