We love Asian food so the chance to sample a French fusion version was very appealing. First disappointment was that the meals we really wanted were only available in the evenings. So we both went for the lunchtime special, a chicken dish from Ceylon or...Sri Lanka. A miserable piece of chicken leg or wing arrived on a bed of tasteless onion stew with rice. the dish was lukewarm and greasy. Service is very good, but did not make up for the poor quality of the food. Slightly annoying footnote on the menu - most main courses are available as a starter or main, but you are advised/warned not to have two starters instead of a starter and main. This is not on. We wish the place well and maybe we just chose the wrong dish but we felt the lunchtime menu is far too restrictive. Will definitely not be back.More

Hello, we are sorry you did not enjoy your lunch with us. Let me tell you that the dish you ate is a yassa chicken, an African specialty, from Senegal specifically. this recipe pleased our other customers. The chicken was chicken drop Challans, red label,...More

This is such a fantastic restaurant! We received a warm welcome and were given menus in English, which made us smile as a number of things were clearly lost in translation 🙂 The food was amazing, so flavoursome and beautifully presented. There were options for...vegans and meat eaters, which is great. The desserts were delicious and beautiful too. Our waiter was very passionate about what he was doing and very intent on us having a good time. He made an effort to describe and explain dishes to us in English and our water jug kept getting refilled without us having to mention it. We sat at a table outside and watched the world go by, which was lovely. There are tables inside and downstairs but it’s a small venue so booking is definitely advisable.More

Eating here was a real treat. The food and wine was delicious, and I loved the relaxed French atmosphere (we were visiting from the UK). The waiter even brought me a blanket because I was cold sat outside. Highly recommend.

The concept is quite simple, it is the Chefs interpretation of Asian dishes he has experienced while travelling. The menu is small but very interesting, there is a raw, medium and cooked meat style dish and the again raw, medium and cooked fish selection. Each...offering is different so you get 6 choices. Then you can have an entree or main size of any of the 6 dishes. The food is fantastic, having lived in Asia for 15 years I can report that he has nailed the flavours very well. He does present the dishes with his own flare so it makes for an unexpected nice surprise. The dessert selection is equally wonderful again with a twist on the presentation. This place is very small so you must book. We will be back for sure.More

Don't let the size of this place fool you: the cuisine is great. It's impressive for a restaurant to successfully serve so many of the world's cuisines, and with a diverse menu that has dishes from Africa, South America, Asia, and Oceania, you need to...really know what you're doing. However, with only about fifteen seats and three servers, I was still at times left wanting for service. It took them a bit long to ask for our drinks, and longer to bring them to the table. But lack of service couldn't ruin a wonderful evening. It really was a world tour, filled with tasty treats from around the globe. Would definitely come back!More

Firstly either book or go early, it's a very small restaurant and gets packed quickly. Secondly the menu though small is a great mix of fusion dishes. Maybe not ideal for children but I'd happily go again.

Hello, indeed the restaurant is small and it is advisable to book. For the children know that we propose a specific and adapted dish which is not on the classical menu. Thank you for having appreciated our food and see you soon with pleasure.

What an amazing find in Rue des Dames right next to our rented apartment and as far away as possible from the quay and its rows and rows of generic tourist trap restaurants Everything is so fresh and innovative - very much a result of...chef's travels and ideas that he has incorporated into his dishes. We had the same dishes both evenings.A delicate white fish cerviche marinated in lemon and herbs onion with warm sweet potato and small salad - a take on peruvian. We then had slices of slightly seared tuna with sesame nuts and coriander on a bed of watermelon mango and tomato He did his own take on New Zealand pavlova - it was just enough crusty on outside but melting in your nmouth on inside - perfect with a fresh fruit coulis He had a limited international wine list - his Silverlake Marlborough sauvignon block was fresh and fruity and up with the best at €4.50 per glass There are restaurants which are engraine don your memory - this is one Thanks to Steven - a large than life energized waiter full of character and personality who made our eveningsMore

Full points for the effort to cater to vegetarians alone (hard, hard job to find a restaurant like this in France...). There was one vegan dish also plus one other that could be veganised. All dishes can be prepared starter or main course sized. Very...fresh, summery food. Interesting touch is their policy of charging for wine - they bring a full bottle to the table and charge only for what is consumed -- test of the willpower if you plan to have less ; ) Although single glasses also available. The interior of the restaurant is tiny and in the basement, at the bottom of VERY steep stairs - something to bear in mind both if you have mobility issues and if you want to go to this restaurant in bad weather because then you should insist on a reservation for indoors. There's quite a lot of outdoor seating but it would not be great in anything other than warm weather and the location, while atmospheric, is not scenic. Nice service, with quite good English spoken.More
