My wife and I celebrated my birthday here. I thought it was excellent. You do need to like they the way they do things, though. You have a choice of three, five, or six courses. You then get what the chef makes. I believe that if you choose the 3 course meal, you have a choice of fish or meat.... More

We went for the 55 euros 5 course surprise option and were delighted with the variety of tastes. The chef introduced himself at the beginning of the meal and the waitress explained the dishes. The presentation was lovely with colourful sauces patterning the plates!!

Very interesting place. Food is really good, the chief came to check if everything was ok, explained us how he cooks, what we liked or disliked. There is no menu, you just say if you have any allergies, if not, let you be guided.

As outlined, Tasting Surprise menu (in fact with 3, 5 or 8 courses), relying on local availability of ingredients. This is just my kind of eatery- individual and slightly quirky. All four of us opted opted for the 3 courses (as too many other large meals), choosing fish rather than meat for the main course . The waiter/owner was attentive... More

This restaurant offers only price-fix menus with three, five, or six dishes. The chef will work around dietary restrictions, but doesn't take specific orders. Instead, the meal is just a series of surprises. Every single dish we had was delightful, impressive, and delicious! We would recommend this restaurant to anyone hoping to have an exciting food adventure!

I think this restaurant is overrated. Regarding the food, it was ok but it's easy to find a restaurant which provides the same level food with cheaper price. As for service, they have hospitality but I felt they tried to ask me to use more money. After desert, they recommended me whisky and it ordered a tiny amount. When I... More

This intimate bistro only serves a tasting menu which every course is a surprise. Chef visits and at times assists with service and wine selection in this small and intimate bistro. Wine recommendations were reasonable and good Enjoyed each course but our entree of veal sweet breads was good but a surprise not welcomed by some of us. Most of... More

We came here for dinner with high expectations after reading some of the reviews on trip advisor. We were warmly greeted and shown our table following a glass of champagne,we were asked to chose from a 3,5, or 8 course menu. Meat or Fish. We chose the 3 course option and Fish and a bottle of white wine. The amuse... More

I honestly think this restaurant is overrated. The good news is the service and the earnest effort put forth by the owner and the server (who was serving the entire restaurant on her own, pretty much). I wasn't keen on the ambiance, which is a bit modern and cold for my liking... Not Provençal feeling. I also think the place... More

Searching the market every day for inspiration and fresh food for his menu, the chef at Ze Bistro surprises me every visit ! As the food is fresh, and the choice is limited, each time I've been forced into uncomfortable territory and each time I have been agreeably surprised and found something new to my palette. The wine list is... More
