Great experience! Everything was just perfect, excellent service! We had fish which was one of bests we ever had! I didn’t expect such a high standard in a brassiere! Bravo!

I love the fresh and light patisserie in particular here. It is bright and great for people watching as one slowly enjoys light croissants, pain au chocolat and coffee before heading off to work.

I order an aioli which was really not tasty with doubtful mayonnaise. My boyfriend take a tasteless tartar. Only the French fried were great. Unfortunately for me, thanks to their plate I was sick all the night. So don't go to this restaurant, it's not...More

Good steak and a the rest of the menu looked good too, a few decent beers as well as the usual wine list. They had helpful and attentive waiters who spoke good English as well as making recommendations from the menu.

How this brasserie gets high marks is beyond me. The food was mediocre at best, the service so so . In general a very mediocre dining experience with normal to medium-high prices.

I had been to Brasserie Leopold in 2015 and it was great - excellent food, service, atmosphere. I took a few friends there last weekend and we were very disappointed. Two of us had the salad of the day (fig, mozzarella, arugula) and they forgot...More

Bonjour, Thank you very much for your nice post on TA. We are sure your husband will be fluent very quickly. Otherwise he will need another intensive training in the Brasserie Léopold with Isabelle teaching. We stay at your disposal. Best regards Nicolas

Welcome to the Brasserie Léopold, the restaurant of the Saint-Christophe hotel in the centre Aix-en-Provence, right near the old town, the Cours Mirabeau, shops, markets, the train station, museums and theatres. The Brasserie Léopold is an institution in Aix. It is famous for its friendly atmosphere and its wonderful Art Déco décor, which goes with the background 1930s jazz music. In this relaxed atmosphere, you can eat your meal in the vast restaurant itself, in the sunlit veranda surrounded by a large glasshouse, or if the weather is fine, out on the patio, to make the most of the warm, lively atmosphere of this part of Aix-en-Provence. The Brasserie Léopold, which has received the distinction "Maitre Restaurateur" welcomes you in the atmosphere of a large Parisian brasserie. Our Chef who has worked in famous restaurants and also under Escoffier, reinvents traditional cuisine, adding all his creativity and his passion for fine gastronomy. The chef offers little innovative dishes, full of interesting flavours, using only French seasonal produce, much of which is local. Everything is home made. Beef fillets with foie gras Rossini, grilled fish, "grand tradition" steak tartare (raw minced steak), sauteed calf kidneys with juniper berries... At the Brasserie Léopold, you can rediscover authentic dishes revisited with flair. The Brasserie Léopold also offers a choice of home made sauerkraut: sauerkraut with fish, sauerkraut royale, sauerkraut with knuckle of pork, duck preserve and sauteed foie gras... a wide choice for fans.
