Friends took us here and it was SUPERB! , AMAZING- The new molecular cooking isn't everyones cup of tea but it was a food adventure as well as well as wonderful dinning experience. We out outside in a beautiful terrace, the service was top notch and very accomodating

We decided to splurge and indulge in our first Michelin Star restaurant experience. We opted for the "L’ESPRIT DE LA VIOLETTE" menu at 84€ and enjoyed our leisurely lunch in their beautiful garden. The staff were gracious and attentive and didn't sneer at our attempts at French and an English translation of the menu was available. They also provided gluten... More

After a climb uphill it was lovely to walk into a beautiful garden and be welcomed kindly. They brought us cool violette scented towels to refresh ourselves. We ordered the prix fixe and it was all perfect. Starting with a coupe of champagne ending with tiny marvelous silver coated sweet somethings. Oh I must tell you that the foie gras... More

We felt a bit dissapointed about this restaurant, specially if you are expecting a star michelin experiencie. After have a dinner there you have no doubts about this is a elegant restaurant and the food is fine. But is extremely classic style and except the desserts wich were amazing, the rest of the menu is quite boring. The price is... More

We decided to go all out at this Michelin 1* restaurant with the high end menu and wine pairings. It was all amazing except the pre-dessert at least for us was a bit odd. Do not go here with jet lag as these large dinners last a long time and said we hit the limit near the end. The cheese... More

Second time visit to this restaurant after 10 years. The restaurant was renovated since then, but the food and atmosphere simply got better. The food is so delicately and beautifully presented, and whole dining experience including welcoming, appetizer, fromage buffet is well organized. Good hospitality, too. The restaurant kindly offered us to look around kitchen and around after dinner. Simply,... More

My wife and I like to eat at Michelin starred restaurants wherever we travel. So, when staying in Aix for a few days in July, this was the first restaurant I booked. It was a lovely evening so most diners were sitting outside in a courtyard. It was nice being outside, but the one downside is that a lot of... More

I was visiting Europe, well London and Venice, and friends from Sydney were celebrating their 60th with a Holiday in southern France so we decided to congregate here for a birthday lunch. What a great decision even if I say so myself! I arrived from Marseilles airport just before lunch and as my friends arrived the waiters asked if first... More

Went to this restaurant with a German chef friend and a Japanese chef friend. The food was presented delicately. Taste was good But not outstanding. My two chef friends rated it good But not fantastic provided it Michelin star status.

For a Michelin one star, the meal was very good but nothing remarkable. Service was very attentive, and the garden setting was lovely. The memorable standout is their olive bread rolls - like a many-layered cinnamon roll, which you tear away layer by layer.
