Had a nice meal here, steak and rabbit, both well cooked and serviced perfectly. Certainly worth a visit, also the wine list was good and prices reasonable

My wife and I went here last night and absolutely loved it. Not only was it one of the most reasonless places we have found but it exactly what we're looking for. Just good home style Italian cuisine. Our waitress (owner possibly) was from Italy and she could not have been more welcoming. We had the Ragu and Quattroformage which... More

We booked a table for 2, the place was not busy when we arrived, actually we were thr only one but a few other customers arrived later on. The waitress (italian) was very very friendly, really gave us the feeling to be known for a while. Food was excellent, we had the pasta ragu and linguini with safran. Delicious, what... More

Palao specialises in simple but well cooked pasta dishes. Located in a small pedestrian street linking Place Antonelle and Place Paul Doumer the area is full of restaurants and bars. Try and get an outside table and watch the world go by. Very friendly and all reasonably priced.

Had read such good reviews about this restaurant, and then our hotel recommended it so we looked forward to a good dinner. We had a warm welcome and a nice glass of wine, however, we found the food to be very bland. Bread was not offered. It was just an expensive dish of very mediocre food.

We thought so much of this little Italian restaurant that we ate there both nights of our stay in Arles. The furnishing is fairly basic, and the menu is short, but everything on it is beautifully prepared and presented; good vegetarian options too. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and the prices good value. There seemed to be a... More

We found this restaurant the evening we got engaged which already made it special but the food was truly outstanding. I got the Penne Ragu which was the nicest I've ever had. It was so good we went back the next 4 nights we were there! The two ladies that served us couldn't have been nicer and any request wasn't... More

I wanted to eat (alone) somewhere relaxed and casual, and found it. The hostess was Italian (from Parma). The food was Italian in name but modified; the ragu had cream in it, and no bread was offered before or with the pasta. I didn't mind though. My penne with ragu was delicious & my cheese plate (served with bread) was... More

We initially went to Le Monde du Sophie, but we needed a glass of wine and they very kindly directed us to this lovely restuarant which was packed. They found a place for us and served delicious pasta. I have lived in Italy and have high standards. The menu is short and everything is fresh. The desserts sounded wonderful (including... More

Fresh home made pasta is served with simple ingredients to make for delectable plats. The waitress is charming and friendly. Definitely worth checking out.
