Back for 4th time and again Fabien and his wife were lovely and served amazing food and great wine. Really great with the kids to. We just drove via Arles to eat there having done the tourist things many times before and were not disappointed. We will be back.

It was almost 3:00 on a drizzly, cold, early October afternoon when we discovered this cozy, little bistro still packed with locals. Although it was after its posted closing hours, we entered and asked a pleasant woman who was clearing a table (an owner, we later learned) if we might have hot soup. She checked with her husband cook and... More

My wife and I have been living in France for one year, and we were on our return from a vacation in Italy when we stopped in Arles for a couple of days. After nearly two weeks on the road, we were weary of Italian food and we were looking for some French cooking. Our hotel advised us of this... More

We had a delicious lunch at this small bistro on a quiet street 3 minute walk from Place de la Republique. We had the set lunch with appetizer, main course and dessert. Everything was beautifully and creatively presented and was delicious. We had a wonderfully light zucchini soup, an unusual and delicious salad of local tomatoes, melon and peaches, two... More

Our young waiter who did not look old enough to have a drivers licence, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. We had our last dinner in Arles here and it was memorable. The "Quasi de veau" and the "girolles" to die for. Recommended!

We had a delightful lunch at this cozy restaurant. The service was extraordinary and the menu, though limited, was excellent. I ordered what I thought would be a very predictable fish dish, but was surprised by how unique and delicious it was. We always try to avoid the usual, sloppy tourist fare, and would definitely come back to L'Autruche. It... More

We have been living in Arles for about six weeks now. Eaten at a good number of cafes, bistros and restaurants. We had heard L'autruche was good, so we walked in on the night of the Fete de la Musique. I cannot say strongly enough it was our worst dining experience so far. Took forever to get anyone to bring... More

We have eaten at L'Autruche a few times when in Arles, to try as much of the menu as we can. It has a menu with focused choices meaning the quality of each meal is not rushed but has a lot of attention to detail and flavour. The hosts Ourya and Fabian always recommend a great wine pairing to go... More

We were having a day out in Arles, visiting museums and chose this restaurant from reading reviews on Tripadvisor. It's a small place seating about 30 people. Looking at the menu we thought the prices a bit steep for lunchtime, but having said that, the food proved to be very good indeed and the wines were of good quality. There... More
