We spent four weeks in Avignon and ate at Pollen during our first week. We enjoyed it so much we returned for a second dinner toward the end of our stay in this wonderful town. The menu consists of a number of small plates (about...7); all were delicious and creative. It's expensive but we thought very well worth the price. Our favorite restaurant in Avignon. (Fluent English spoken).More

Pollen was suggested to us at our hotel when another Michelin restaurant had to cancel because of weather-related issues. Pollen was PERFECT! The service was outstanding, the wine and food pairings were superb! It is a bit off the street, so unless you're looking for...it you wouldn't know about it, but it is worth the search! We'd never been to a Michelin restaurant and I wanted to treat my husband. The staff even brought a special dessert for him! Go, eat, love!More

Been to the restaurant recently and i have to say it was an astonishing experience. The attention to details, the care the whole staff took of my partner lactose allergy, the set up, everything contributes to a fantastic sensorial experience. Food is really really good....Ingredients, presentation, colors, ideas...fantastic. Also doesnt happen very often to eat in a 1 star michelin restaurant for 55 euros at lunch. Guys you are a wonderful gem in the city and in the world in general.More

We visited Pollen two years ago at the previous address, have been eagerly waiting to return and planned a few days of our holiday purely on being able to eat here again! The new space is lovely and we really liked the nods to the...old space - the books, plants, lightness whilst also still keeping the feeling of being hidden away somewhere secret. The food was incredible with wonderful fresh flavours, service was excellent and the wines recommended by the sommelier were very good and well priced. Now we just have to wait for our next visit!More

This was our second visit to Pollen. We took our family for our daughters 30th birthday and dined in the area at the back - felt like a private dining room. Staff were knowledgeable and attentive at just the right level. The sommelier was amazing,...the chef brought out food, too and the whole experience felt so personal. Three of our party had various allergies - all dealt with perfectly. Outstanding wine flight. In my previous review I mentioned the limited cheese choice - this time there was no problem - something for everyone. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. To try to select a favourite course is not possible - remarkable sauces throughout and creative use of beautiful, fresh produce. We will be back!More

Simply amazing. We visited Pollen for lunch during our few days near Avignon. Sometimes everything is just right. The interior is delightful, loved the design furniture and the aesthetic of the place! Staff is very friendly and attentive. We had the 3-course lunch menu (surprise...menu), which is priced very kindly at €35. Supplemented it with the cheese-platter (€15) and the accompanying wines (€20). The food was spot on! Very delicate yet vibrant in flavours! Absolutely loved it. I think the chef and the staff focus on the right things, stunning food, good wine and great service, no need for all the fancy unnecessary things. I won’t even say “I recommend”, I will even say a “must visit” when near Avignon! Chapeau!More

Beautifully presented, exquisite food. Airy and spacious restaurant. We both had the carte blanche menu and I had the matching wines. The salad course was the best tasting I have ever had - served with a beautiful orange sauce. The wines, mainly white, were excellent...and the sommelier knowledgeable and helpful. The only reason I have not given 5/5 is that the cheese board was a bit disappointing- if you don’t like blue or chèvre it wasn’t worth paying the extra for.More

Must be one of the top restaurants in town, totally deserves its Michelin star rating. Very nice interior design. Super attentive and caring staff. I was given a very good big table looking directly at the kitchen even though I was a solo customer. I...tried the 6-course tasting menu at a good price of 80EUR. The foods are delicious, creative and very well presented on the beautiful crafted plates and bowls. I felt so pampered. The suggested organic rose wine was a good recommendation too. Definitely will be back again the next time I’m Avignon.More

An absolute highlight of my 3 day trip. I will consider returning to Avignon if only to dine at Pollen. I sat down to a 7-course surprise menu. Each dish better than the previous. I notified them that my diet is lactose free - this...was no problem and my dishes were designed to cater for this. Lovely atmosphere, friendly waiters. A MUST! Advance booking essential.More
