It can be excellent 1 day and if you try again later, it can be disappointing, but this is the only Indian in Avignon. Old interior design, good service, but slow.

Been here for dinner after searching for an Indian restaurant for a while in Avignon (visited on 14/09/16). Restaurant is beautiful but food taste is very bad. Chicken curry tasted like it's been cooked with some ready made sauce in market. Worst was Lamb Biryani, as it tasted really bad and the shocking thing was the rice had gone bad... More

Hard to give a bad review but was not a good curry, only good thing is it was spicy as I requested but I have made better myself. Tiny portion too. Maybe Indian food in France is meant to be this way but I'd never come back.

Incredible place. Far larger than you would imagine from photographs. Be prepared to exercise your calf muscles up and down all the stairs, but don't be put off if you're a little unfit. There are plenty of places to stop and pause. Recommend thick soled shoes as the cobbles in Avignon can leave you with very tender feet.

Let me preface this review by saying that I live in Avignon; I've lived here for over a year and am well versed with service standards in France. I fully expect a meal to take a long time as, culturally speaking, that's the point -- not just to eat, but to enjoy the experience and not be rushed. That being... More

We were there casually on the 25th December evening and we were delighted by the food and the good service. It's a simple but warm place.

Excellent cost benefit. Delicious food. Home made service, very simple, but efficient. Strongly recommended.

I had just the one meal - I chose a chicken tikka masala on the basis that it's a dish I know and was keen to assess the quality of the food. The dish was beautiful, full of beautiful spices and flavour. The pilau rice was light and fragrant. I can heartily recommend it. The restaurant is tucked away a... More

My husband and I were the second table to be seated at about 7:45 pm on a Saturday night. The restaurant slowly filled up as we were there. We received menus and placed our order promptly and proceeded to wait for ages for our food. It quickly became apparent that the restaurant was not prepared for the number of patrons... More
