This little restaurant is in a square slightly off the main tourist drag, but still very busy. It is very unpretentious and serves a variety of dishes involving melted cheese.

Went there for late diner. Great choice of local and French fine wines. Lots of very good wines sold by the glass at very inexpensive rates. Food was inexpensive too, but very tasty and authentic. Not a tourist trap. Extremely attentive and friendly staff. Would...More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. They offered many good wines by the glass, had an interesting menu, delivered great tasting food and provided friendly and knowledgeable service. Went there twice during our visit to Avignon.
Come in for comfort food and to relax. The service is good and the food even better. The salads, goat cheese, mushroom soup and duck are all portioned appropriately and rich flavors in every bite. After a day like today, I was too full for...More
We stopped in for dinner with the family and had a terrific experience. The Camembert fondue was super rich and delicious, my salmon with goat cheese based sauce and potatoes was cooked perfectly and the sauce really broke got out the richness of the fish.
Rick Steves nailed this one! My wife and I had a fantastic two course meal with a bottle of the house wine, which was delectable and amazingly priced. Though my better half speaks French, the server accommodated my naïveté with proficient English. The cheese plate...More
