The most beautiful setting, very good service and excellent food - a lovely evening. Just a couple of niggles: - we were asked if we would like an apéritif (no list/prices) and my (very good) dry martini apéritif was plonked down on the table in...More

We like this place for it’s history and old Riviera glamour. The ambiance is classy and from the terrace you have the most lovely view. If weather allows and terrace is open I suggest you ask for a table there since the indoor dining room...More

Visited Belle Rives 2 years ago and had a bad experience - there was a power cut during dinner which was unfortunate but it was how they dealt with it that was a problem. All other tables were looked after, explained what was happening and...More

The setting is fantastic and the service everything you'd expect from a famous five star hotel. However, the seats outside were uncomfortable and the food unexciting- the only interesting dishes on the fish menu we had were the yellowtail and the oysters. The fleurs de...More

The menu was unfortunately too limited, and although well presented, lacking in finesse and final taste and quantity. The service, while attentive, was perhaps a little too friendly and familiar. The setting is fantastic, but once again, missing that "je ne sais quoi". It would...More

As I write today, the main picture of the restaurant up on Trip Advisor is a lovely picture of the elegant dining room, and I looked forward to eating there. However, last week, for whatever reason, that was not an option. Without notice, all dining...More

Spent a great evening here for my wife's birthday watching the sun set over the Iles de Lerins from the front of the terrace. Amberjack starter showed off variations on the exquisite local tomatoes, followed by robust meaty lamb and succulent red mullet with a...More

Lunch on the terrace overlooking the bay, taking in the variations of blues and greens of the glimmering waters is in itself a mesmerizing moment. Add to that the pleasant surprise of being offered a three course meal at the price of two makes things...More

  • This restaurant is at Hotel Belles Rives
Tucked away on Cap d’Antibes in the quaint town of Juan les Pins, Hotel Belles Rives’ restaurant pays homage to its location with a focus on local seafood. Executive Chef Yoricre Tieche, who was awarded his first star in the 2016 Michelin Guide, serves a signature menu at La Passagere called the «Grand Bleu» which features dishes such as the new “Bouillabaisse from Juan les Pins,” which is served in three courses to represent the stages of diving. The restaurant’s dessert menu will still include a sugar blown dish called the “pearl in blown sugar shell,” the signature dessert from Pastry Chef Steve Moracchini, who was awarded the 2016 Pastry Chef of the Year from Gault & Millau. Designer Olivier Antoine, known for his work at Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo, redesigned the space to include contemporary pieces that speak to the restaurant’s sophisticated, imaginative and airy setting while conserving its Art Deco roots. A Carrara white marble floor with a vibrant mosaic center ushers guests into the main entrance. Magnificent chandeliers illuminate the room filled with art from the 1930’s and hand-painted Bernardaud porcelain plates, featuring scenes from the hotel’s surroundings. Colorful hand-blown glass created by artisans from the nearby city of Biot enhance the warmth of the space, while ceramic rosettes and oversized mirror panels hang from the ceiling, allowing bright colors to ricochet and reflect throughout. Additional design features include a mix of green and blue fabric benches, custom Ruhlmann chairs covered with celadon leather, tall white pillars with intricate hand-painted designs and oversized windows. Aurelien Vequaud has been appointed Chef of the Michelin starred restaurant La Passagere since mid May. Before joining the Hotel Belles Rives, he used to be Executive Sous-Chef at La Vague d'Or in Saint Tropez (Residence de La Pinede - 3 Michelin Stars, Chef Arnaud Donckele) first and, secondly, Executive Sous-Chef at La Reserve De Beaulieu in Beaulieu-sur-Mer (1 Michelin Star, Chef Yannick Franques, Meilleur Ouvrier de France). Aurelien is proud of his new position and looks forward to present his culinary creations, where he likes to honor the finest Mediterranean products. The hotel’s Pastry Chef, Steve Moracchini, has been awarded by the same guide in 2016 as Pastry Chef of the Year
