Our waiter was friendly, and the service was efficient. Our starter salads were nice and fresh, and scampi pasta was good, even though there was quite a lot of sand in it. Our boys got tailor-made dishes according to their requests. All in all it was a good experience, but the menu wasn't so exciting that we would have wanted... More

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at The Stanley. We both had the Menu du Jour which consisted of Salade Nicoise, grilled sea bass and gamba plus dessert. We also ordered a half litre of the house wine which was quite satisfactory. The service was prompt and each course was delicious. We were even given a small selection... More

We do not feel welcome here at all. The service is terrible and slow. The food is burnt. We were presented an overpriced receipt at the end. Crooks. Trying to rip off tourists, definitely not trying to make you come back. Watch out for 5.50 euro bottle of mineral water that gets quickly on your table. The cheap set menu... More

The restaurant is nicely placed in a small square surrounded by restaurants in the old town. The interior is unusually nice compared to peers. We had a Eur 23 menue, in my case consisting of seafood salad, grilled fish, crème brûle, coffee and a crisp muscadet sur lié totalling with tip Eur 32. Not bad. Then why only 2 points?... More

Menu is in French and English. We were seated promptly at our table of choice. Ordered the rabbit and was most pleased. Server was prompt and helpful.

Disappointing. We chose the 23 euro meal. We moules and jambon plate to start. Was served butter but no bread. No dressing at all on the salade, I had to ask for olive oil. I also had to ask for bread. The servers were all taking turns bringing things to our table, and we could not tell who we had... More

Not good. I am use to the ingredients being treated with more respect. Things to be fresher than they were. I would not recomend this place to anyone. Our mussels were not cleaned (clumps of sand etc still on them). I sent back a horrible seafood salad and got another (not much better) one. I guess weve been extra spoiled... More

It's always confusing when a restaurant has such mixed reviews. It was a spur of the moment decision to eat here, the little courtyard looks nice and we thought we would give it a try. It's definitely the worst meal we had in Menton, both in terms of food and service. It's a strange set up, the waiter seemed more... More

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay in Menton. It is in a pretty square at the port end. Both times we had the E23 set menu and it was great. Just loved the grilled gambas. Staff all very friendly.

Various 3 course menus available, chose one at Euro 18 (service included). Unhurried lunch, pleasant outside area. Recommended.
