One a rare rainy Sunday afternoon in Nice, this ticked the box for brunch, (particularly as there was a big screen inside showing rugby.) The premises have been smartly refurbished; the look & feel is authentically French for anyone searching for typical bistro chic. The menu features daily specials as well as all the classics one would expect & a... More

I've just got back from a meal here and have to say I'm a little disappointed. I had a black truffle risotto (€19) and found it quite bland. My partner had a tagliatelle with chicken, cream and cinnamon which was nice but pricey at €14. There were no drinks prices on the menu but we ordered a beer and a... More

Mussels were great, as was the pasta Bolognese, and the chicken with cream sauce. We lucked out on a wonderful wine from Burgundy even though the wine list was in French. The appetizer of hummus, and two other items with toast was good too. Would go back.

Love Restaurant - Rue de la France - Nice. Plenty variety to choose from and the waiting staff were very friendly. You didn't feel rushed and could linger over your meal or a coffee for as long as you wished. My meal was freshly prepared with the finest of local ingredients & the best of all was it wasn't overly... More

My experience at the Love restaurant which I believe is going to be renamed to 'Rina' was great. So give the new owners a chance, with the service I received (which was great) they certainly deserve it. Food was very good - I had a Charcuterie which was very good. I am picky on crunchy bread but is very minor.... More

The proprietor essentially stole money from us. I eat the same thing every morning in France. I get a double expresso, and some bread with butter and jam. My wife gets two double Americanos with milk on the side. It costs 13 to 14 Euro at just about every place in the entire country. I have been here for a... More

Stopped in for drinks while walking around. Nice outdoor area to people watch. First order went fine price was reasonable. Second order was interesting - someone wanted a wine just poured for the table next to us. First reply was that it was not cold so he got a menu. When looking for an alternative he brought out the same... More

Doesn't matter which cafe, bistro, or restaurant you visit in Nice, Cannes or Monaco, you will see the same items on the menus for exactly the same price; any traveller can check it out for themselves and we were certain there was price-fixing across all three resorts. Salads, pizzas, soups, sandwiches; - all start at €11-13. Each menu displayed reflects... More

Wandered around Nice at lunch time having arrived from England with a hungry appetite earlier that day. Wanted French onion soup as this is a staple, traditional and what should be a low cost meal (as cheap ingredients to make). All cafe/restaurants in Nice seem to price fix (along with Cannes and Monaco, which we visited over the next couple... More

We only had drinks here. On a warm Mediterranean evening it's a great spot, especially if you manage to get one of the sofas! There's an extensive drinks menu and service was good.
