Was sat with menus for 20 mins while staff attended other tables and guests arriving even after we were seated. After being completely ignored we left with no food, wine water or even a table napkin. Shame as I was looking forward to the food

Went to Sainte Maxine on a beautiful November Saturday lunchtime and found this amazing al fresco experience. Great weather, great food and service. In fact so good we went back in the evening to watch a touring blues band! Brilliant!

"TO BE OR NOT TO Bistronomique" Cafe de France has been for many years, as evolving in the world of brewing. Its size and desire to have fast service have blurred the image of this institution, because it is first and historically a bistro ... Caught in the gourmet restaurants and most traditional restaurants, the Cafe de France now wants to explore a third way, find a happy medium, bistronomy. A state of mind. The key concepts are quality cuisine in a charming setting with an informal but correct service. What bistronomy? The author of this word is nothing other than Sebastien Demorand (culinary columnist) in order to define a restaurant that combines the friendliness and relaxed bistro and the large side gourmet restaurant and its cuisine. In a period of crisis or customers are looking for authenticity, it is necessary to return to simple products, preferably fresh, well prepared and the taste reminds values and memories to customers, a Proust madeleine in some ways. Bistronomy leaves room for dialogue, the exchange between the client and the institution (be it the boss, the chief or the server). Here we find this simplicity in the old pubs to enjoy the present moment just like a good movie. Bistronomy is pleased to enjoy a friendly, to get together around the table, sharing authentic dishes, plunging back into memories and be welcomed as a friend's house. Conclusion The bistro is in the decor and ambiance, food is on the plate, and the prices are between. Cafe de France, wants his team to express themselves in a reinterpretation of the classic French bistro food without keeping cliches. The spirit and dishes will be scoundrels, but the proposed version is modern with a requirement on product quality and proximity of producers ... that our adventure ... so, you're leaving us?
