Nice place for families, very friendly staff. Very good "Rillettes de saumon", great fish (well cooked), great raviolis, slightly above average deserts.

This samll bistro style restaurant in the center of the village is it's best both in terms of food and value. Don't miss the lamb shoulder or the duck.

We ate here at our last night in Gordes. Is we had tried it sooner, we would have eaten here every night. My husband got the lamb- it was in our top 3 dishes we've EVER had- and I normally don't like lamb. I had the sea bass- it was way better than expected too, in a fantastic sauce with... More

The experience was great. We did not have a reservation but were seated right away. The service was fast and thorough (by the owner by the way). We had the duck and the beef cheeks for the main, along with the escargot as an entree. We had help picking a great wine to compliment our meal perfectly. A great atmosphere... More

We had a really lovely dinner here. Lovely provencal food but done with a slight twist. All the dishes were excellent. The Sabayon dessert was amazing. Good value compared to other places like the wildly overpriced Mas de Tourteron. Also has an excellent wine list with great local choices with very knowledgable and friendly staff.

On a sunny day we had lunch here, sat outside. The food was wonderful and the staff was very nice too. The 3-course lunch we had cost 28.00Euro and worth every cent! We will be back! :)

Had a lovely lunch here today, I started with the cold butternut squash soup and my better half with a goat cheese tomato tart, entrees were sea bass on a bed of whipped, creamy potatoes and spinach ravioli, but very very enjoyable, friendly service, stop by for lunch.

Our only complaint is the ambiance isn't great ( grey drab walls inside-unless the weather is good and then the view outside is excellent). However,One of the best meals and service we've had on our two week trip. Owned by a young couple. The lovely wife runs the front of the house and the husband is a wonderfully talented chef.... We were briefly visiting Gordes for a quick look round, and had booked L'Artegal in advance. It was too cold to sit outside, and although the restaurant looks a little unprepossessing, the four of us had a very good lunch indeed with friendly and good service. The food was superb, freshly cooked and imaginative. A very good place.
