Food was good, waiter was a bit offhand at first but warmed up a bit as the evening wore on. Excellent wine.

The location is exceptional, on the main square in Orange, so it is a perfect spot for people watching and was beautifully shaded on a hot summer evening. The waiter who served me seemed to truly enjoy his work -- he was very welcoming to everyone who approached, regardless of their ability to speak French, and was happy to answer... More

Nice meal in a square in within the old town walls. Mussels au gratin to start, which were lovely in a nice sauce. Then steak frites which as you would expect was cooked rare. Then homemade chocolate mousse - divine. Very traditional French bistrot fare which did not disappoint. Service was OK, but not brilliant.

Ended up here as a result of our booked restaurant being unexpectedly closed. This this was open and busy with locals so we gave it a try and were glad that we did. The Food was really good as was the house wine and the prices were very reasonable.

You have to order the mussels when you go. It is not too pricey, but there are around 30 mussels there along with half a plate of fries. Also order the tiramisu. It comes in a gigantic cup and just tastes heavenly.

Well situated in the town center. The menu card that offered is quite attractive, salad, pizza, pasta, steak, mussels. They also offered kids menu with drinks, main course and dessert at very reasonable price. The waiter and waitress are very efficient and provides very professional service.

It's on the city square, the waiters are jovial and you can have your pizza or burger if you don't like the local cuisine (but this is france...). We where not disappointed. The startes, the steaks and the cheese was nice and "mass produced" as expected. The service was great as expected. The wine was great as expected. And the... More

Nice choice of pizzas and salades. Freandy waiters and fast service. Pizza was made from all fresh ingrediants. House vine was classic red with great taste. Recommend panna cota for the end.

Well situated on a plaza, the cafe has good lunch options and friendly service--though a little slow. My husband tried the mussels and fries, while I had a pizza. Both dishes were fresh and tasty. They let me combine my pizza with a dessert as part of a lunch "formule." The creme brulee and the chocolate mousse are both excellent.... More

The Festival cafe is nicely located on the square. The staff super friendly and the food we had was great. Lovely pizzas with thin bottom and thick topping! One of the best pizza experiences in France. The salad was fresh and rich. Highly recommended!
