Quite arrogant staff. I politely asked for a table and was treated very snotty by the steward for not having a reservation. All I wanted to know is, whether there was a free table. What a ridiculous behavior of this person!

A gorgeous way to pass an afternoon with delicious bouillabaisse, a cold glass of wine, and a beautiful sea view. Don't forget to reserve as the restaurant fills up in advance and if you want the bouillabaisse, you must order in advance.

The chateau is an ironic misnomer as architecturally nothing could be further from the truth. This is a long low modern flat-roofed building, used mostly as a serving area for the huge terrace outside where the tables are seat. Again, despite its name, it has no pretensions and makes a virtue of simplicity. You'll find no amuses-gueules or witty sorbets... More

This place is horrible! We went there with some friends during the Euros, and wanted to have a few drinks and maybe a lunch during a hot summer day. We sat down, but when it turned out, that we don't speak any French they waiter told us (in an arrogant manner with terrible English) that they don't (!!!) serve us,... More

A rustic restaurant overlooking a small bay (the colors of the water were gorgeous), so know that rusticity is a part of the charm. You get there by means of a twisty narrow road headed down, with backing up necessary so that you can make way for those coming up. The bouillabaisse, which must be ordered in advance, was lovely,... My husband and I visited today and managed to dodge a group of thieves (possibly) posing as security/parking guards. After we parked outside the main gate (the one that is a 35 min. hike to the restaurant), we were putting some valuables in our trunk. A man with a security jacket (who didnt speak english) came up to us and... More

Four people for lunch. We hadn't pre-ordered the bouillabaise or the zarzuela, so settled for octopus, mussels, grilled fish, fish soup, scallops etc. All absolutely terrific. Do reserve in advance. Parking is extra. Lunch is a better option in terms of driving the mountain road in daytime.

This restaurant seems high-end, and is certainly expensive. However, we ordered a well-done steak which was red and almost liquid inside. And tiger prawn spaghetti which was OK, but fairly bland. With two soft drinks, the bill was almost €60. Probably the most expensive, but least impressive meal of the trip. I noticed another place nearby on google maps later... More

We had a reservation for 6 (we reserved for the both the table and the bouillabaisse) and they had set a table at the front edge of the patio for us. This was our first bouillabaisse and we can not say how it rates compared to others, but the broth was very good the fish too much for us to... More

We booked a table for 8 people. No service or what so ever. We had to beg for everything including water and wine. We managed to get one bottle of wine during our lunch. The training of waiters must have been very light since since none of them could carry a glass without putting their fingers inside. The only positive... More
