Heavy rain in Saint-Remy forced a quick restaurant decision and an amazing discovery. A classic restaurant, beautifully decorated and food you'll remember for years. For those who appreciate the extraordinary manner in which great french "serveurs" orchestrate the dining experience -- so professional yet with a friendly manner -- here you will find the quintessential example. Menu offerings are Provence... More

My 3 adult children, my wife and I were so impressed by the food and the hospitality of Jean-Pierre and his staff that we had to go back in the same week (something we never did in our 2-week trip). The bouillabaisse and the lamb were especially memorable. No hesitation!

Eww walked from the centre of Avignon - about a mile over the island in the river and although we booked through Ta it had not got through and they were pretty full> However they moved some tables around and fitted us in to the delightful courtyard. The seafood was fresh and very well presented> Not cheap but excellent value... More

Four of us went to this small, newly refinished and modern restaurant and we each enjoyed it. The menu is predominantly seafood with a steak and a chicken dish also on the menu. One section is an "aioli" section where you get shrimp, mussels, fish, sea snails, and scallops with a lot of steamed vegetables in a nice buttery broth,... More

Stumbled on this restaurant while strolling. Decided to have set dinner menu - wow it was fabulous. The mussel starter dish was so tasty followed by lamb. The flavours were divine. However for us the real sign of great restaurant is when you are served a homemade dessert - right down to homemade biscuits. We ordered local wine. Thotoughly enjoyed... More

We were not disappointed by the atmosphere or flavors of this cozy restaurant! My cousin ordered the aioli, two of us chose the mussels with aioli, and one of our group picked the chicken. We were all thrilled with our choices, loved eating outside, enjoyed the chef's amuse bouche, and appreciated the great service. It is on the road which... More

Visited on our last night in Saint Rémy with the intention of having traditional Provencal dishes. While we had heard that Marseille was the place for Bouillabaisse reports suggested that it wasn't so bad here either. As far as our taste buds go we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious. I had an Ayoli which was also lovely. The service... More

Ambition is written all over. Menu, interior, dresscode service staff. Although entrée and main dish were ok, everything lacks that little more to have star quality. We paid 62 euros for one entree and 2 main dishes (without wine).

Very nice friendly staff. Food was excellent nothing was a problem despite having to return one main course. Well worth a visit even though on a busy road. Would definitely recommend.

A little gem situated near the centre of town. Great ambience inside (tables outside a bit too close to the busy road but still enjoyable), we sat inside as it was a very windy day. Fantastic food very well presented combined with excellent friendly service! Value for money - discounted on bookings.com
