This place is a real gem. The setting in an old farm dating back from the 18th century is so beautiful, cosy and very comfortable. Donatella the owner and the Chef Auro her husband are both very friendly and welcoming. The staff Lorenzo (the owners' son), Ledio and Gianluca are outstanding, very professional and attentive to their guests' needs. The... More

After having made a confirmed reservation online that was later canceled, we made a reservation over the phone for a couple of days later. We ordered 2 x gourmand child menu and 2 x lamb. All meals turned out to be not sufficiently warmed up when they were served. We choose to only complain about the lamb as the children... More

Having read many good reviews of this restaurant, we went there on the first evening in Chamonix. And not knowing that it is almost an obligation to make a reservation the first waiter told us that we were lucky because someone just cancelled his reservation. Then the waiters brother and their mother(!) joined and started to discuss in Italian (as... More

We spent and evening in Chamonix as we were staying in Argentiere and this restaurant was recommended to us by friends. Recommend the fixed 3 course menu which is good value at just over 30 euros per person. Watch out for the wine though. This is where they make their money. The cheapest bottle of house wine was still pretty... More

Absolutely, Amazing & Delicious food, from the starters to the desserts are all works of art that just beg to be eaten. The young waiters are stylish, friendly and very good at their jobs. The restaurant is brilliant and the decor is beautiful with the antiques clocks, gilded mirrors, chandeliers and much more. Dress code was both relaxed and informal,... More

We were really excited to to go L'Impossible. The reviews were all so good. What we found was the restaurant was very pretty and the service excellent. But the food was dull and boring. The pasta dishes had no flavour and were tiny and super dooper expensive. Even the wine was at crazy prices 50 Euros for a bottle of... More

Visiting chamonix for our second anniversary I decided to do some research as myself and my other half are both vegetarian. Was delighted to find a fine dining establishment that gave actual choice instead of a token gesture like many places in the area. The restaurants ethic of using ethically sourced products was interesting and it's a proper family run... More

This is a lovely restaurant with good local art on the walls. Terrific service, quality food and gluten free options. After so many places that served meat with no sauce this restaurant brought home made gluten free bread! We had a terrific meal and enjoyed the music and conversation.
