Very nice restaurant. It wasn't very busy when we visited. We had the beef cooked on hot stone. . You might need to put a bit more effort, as you're cooking it yourself, but it's highly recommended to try it. ..really amazing. The staff were very friendly as well

Been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Has the traditional dishes expected in Chamonix (pela is good) and other dishes so there is plenty of choice. The food is cooked with care and excellently prepared. Can't stress this enough. It is not a big restaurant run by seasonal staff, it is a small place with very friendly... More

So my nephew broke his arm on day 2 of a ski week. Poor lad. So I took him out for a steak. What a place. Friendly welcome. Great view sitting in sun by the big windows. Mountains and blue sky. Caprese salad was fab. Really tasty and great oil. Steaks good - and cooked as asked. Nice chips and... More

In touristique areas it's always difficult to find good and honest restaurants- fer à cheval is one of the exceptions! Perfect service, good food, excellent local wine, nice furniture! Would always go back

This was by far the best meal we have eaten. We both had Le Menu Plaisir and both meals were full of flavour, melt in the mouth and a taste explosion. The restaurant itself is a lovely cosy place and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

We picked this place as we wanted to eat delicious local food in a fairly relaxed setting and it totally delivered. The fondue was excellent and we enjoyed a couple of glasses of the house red too. I would go back.

A relaxing place, nice service, delicious French traditional food. My boy enjoyed the food, also the dessert. What I love most is the view out of the restaurant window: the Mont-Blanc! What you can expect more from a family holiday?

We stopped there during a cold day as it was right by the parking lot. We ordered big salad and a cheese fondue which was quite a big portion, very good and made us a bit warm during that cold day

This restaurant is in my opinion the best place to go to in Chamonix. They have both delicious Fondues and Pierrades as well as excellent appetizers and entrées. The team is extremely friendly and very accommodating. We visited this restaurant twice in August 2016 and twice in December 2016 and cannot get enough of it. You also have beautiful views... More
