With a sun-drenched day, we skied to a halt at Le Bel Air on the off-chance of getting a lunch-time table (for 5) - what chance(!), we thought, given the known popularity of this place! Luckily we were able to tuck into the omelette and salad and were enjoined by a host of other nearby tables for the banter that... More

We stopped her for lunch one day. Food arrived quickly, it was french traditional mountain food and tasted delicious. They get you through the meal at speed as the turnover is fast but it didn't feel rushed.

Le Bel Air is a must visit, whether it's just for a refuelling coffee or tea or a long languorous lunch in the sun. The staff take their lead from Christophe, your friendly, welcoming host and the food is absolutely superb. Prices, for Courchevel, are reasonable too.

Christophe and his team are the consumate hosts. Warm, friendly service, hugely professional and slick yet all delivered in a low key relaxed way. This restaurant is just the best. Our most favourite place not only on the slopes but in the whole of Courchevel. Simply there is no better place to lunch! The dish of the day served with... More

Great lunch with my grand son and a few daily ski breaks. Menu is simple but of good quality. Hard to get a table during peak season. Very busy, I visit every year and the standard remains the same. Generous servings.

Really friendly lunch service with a really good menu of the day. A drink on the deckchair terrace afterwards is a must. Reasonable price too for mountain restaurant. Snack bar downstairs good also.

Right from the friendly welcome courtesy of Christophe through to the obligatory Genepe this place still must rate as the best in the valley. Booking is a must and outside dining is the best for views and people watching. Plat du jour is always a gourmet's delight and his prices are consistently reasonable.

This is our favourite mid morning or lunch stop in the 3 valleys. We had a couple of lovely rustic meals with a very good service and tasty food. Difficult too beat that view and a pleasure to return. Not cheap but best part of the Valley.
