Great place to stop and get drinks or to eat. Expensive but great vibe! Music playing and a really great atmosphere!

Very very disappointing. Have been going to The Courchneige for 30 years. Prices are now ridiculous and even more expensive at the till than on the menu ( large draft beer advertised at 8 euros - was 5 in previous years - and actually 9 when you paid

I have stayed at the Courcheneige for many years but this year the food in the hotel was a disaster area. The restaurant was ill managed and at the start of the week the food was simply disgusting. It did improve in our last two days, however. As a restaurant/cafe, the Courcheneige is well placed at the top of the... More

Fri, 28JAN17. Polite welcome, restaurant quiet, food order taken quickly (soup & basic pasta), we then counted approx. 30ish people (5+ tables) turn up after we ordered, all but one received their food ate it & had left before the two of us even got ours. Complained many times, to different waiting staff, not once was a reason given, not... More

Writing this on behalf of my husband who stayed for 5 nights with my son ..boys skiing trip. The overall look of the hotel after refurbishment was good apart from the bedrooms which clearly haven't had a lot done to them. The bar was cosy before and even cosier now. The restaurant looks good but that's where the good finishes.... More

This hotel has a wonderful position on the slopes so expect to pay up. Two coffees with milk and one hot chocolate cost €17. I would advise moving on a few meters down the piste to the Petit Stop. Very simple and basic menu but perfectly adequate as a coffee stop and for a quick snack.

Yesterday we booked a table for the Courcheneige for today as we arrived we were made to wait 15 minutes. Finally we were seated it then took another 20 minutes to be served to which we were told it would be 45-60 until we actually would receive our food this wouldn't have upset me so much, however the table next... We always enjoy our stops here, easy to get to for ski beginners so no problems meeting the family for lunch good food and not too pricy so one of our favourite stop off points. Nice easy run back on the green slope after the final stop for the day best hot chocolate on squishy seats by the fire. Good... More

Went most days we were in Courchevel for lunch to break up the day's skiing. Good value for the area and cheap beer! Lovely on a sunny day to sit outside. You have to book - plenty of people turned away every day without reservations. Friendly staff, great croque monsieur. Last day had the ski meal deal. Super buffet for... More

What a lost opportunity for the people who own this place. Great stop off it may be for ski schools, but does that make it a good idea to have staff who other than in very occasional instances feel it is optional if they feel like providing good or at least any service? Simply a rubbish experience. Here's hoping that... More
