A very large selection of teas from all around the world and freshly baked cakes to eat. Service is really friendly - would definitely recommend.

We found this tea shop as we had tried one of their teas in another shop. They have a tea shop with a large selection of bulk teas , teapots and tea cups and other tea making things. Across the road is their cafe. The cafe had a huge selection of cakes including a gluten free cake , on the... More

Excellent quality-price ration. Huge selection of teas, nice cakes. Ice tea in summer was always delicious. The only drawback: All though the owner have extended the place, there is never easy to find a table. Even in winter one has to sit outside, and then there is always the risk of being annoyed by smokers. :(

Excellent selection of teas and variety of sweat and savoury baked goods. We had a cheese quiche and it was fantastic. The ice tea is very tasty too.

Can't comment on the tea as we don't drink it but stopped here for cake and it was delicious. Big slice of really good gooey chocolate brownie and a scone with nutella. With water as well total bill came to €5.60. Bargain. Lovely spot to sit outside people watching. Nice people who spoke English too.

We have been to Jardin du The in Grenoble many times. Only today I found the time to write a review. The place is a bit hidden and you have to go there on purpose. However if you like tea and you are in Grenoble it is a must go place. You will find there a huge variety of teas... More

This is not really a restaurant! They serve tea and cake! What an understatement. They sell 50 varieties of tea and wonderful home made cakes!! If you thought that the French only liked coffee then think again. We were only in Grenoble for 5 days and we visited this place 4 times and three times we had to wait to... More

If you want to hang out in a very zen tea room and agonise of which of the 100 or so varieties of tea you want to enjoy, go straight to this lovely and rather large (yet quiet) spot in the walking streets of Grenoble. The pastries are delicious. I esp. enjoyed the rhubarb strudel and the white chocolate cake.

A friend invited me as a Groupon offer and, with the 50% discount, it was good value. But I wouldn't usually have paid over 6 euros for a cup of tea - and not really found it as good as what I have on my shelf at home. That said, it could be my insensitive palette. The jury is out.

The « Jardin du thé » (tea garden) offers you hundreds of tea selection for sale, retail and consumption. Our profession is to advice you and serve you according to your taste and wishes, but also to select carefully and try out all our teas. It is also about looking for new accessories that allow to appreciate the tea at its fair value. Before being sellers, we first were hobbyist and that is the reason why we are also questioning ourselves.
