I had a very tasty lunch at this place on a rainy day (soup + meat + wine). The ambiance was calm and pleasant and the staff was friendly. Although it is not as small as most bistrots, the decoration gives it the same warm and charming feeling. Reasonably priced. The restaurant is exactly in front of the "Fresque des... More

The title says it all The food is great and served by very friendly and efficient staff. The portions were very generous and the food was all very well seasoned and very tasty Starters and main course for 2 with Beaujolais and coffee was about €140 👍🍴🍷

I had heard that Le Potager Des Halles was one of the must-try local bistros in Lyon. Perhaps my expectations were a touch too high, but I had higher hopes and ended up somewhat let down. - We ate on the more formal dining room side and I thought the meal was average. The menu is more interesting and diverse... More

The food is very good. The service is performed by young, unsupervised servers, who could stand some basic lessons in restaurant service and civility. No Management was apparent, otherwise I would have told them about the lack of any knowledge on the wine list, the total lack of follow up on the meal, the failure to respond correctly to a... More

We picked this place from a friend's listing as a good neighborhood restaurant. On calling for reservations, I discovered that the restaurant, and the bistro, though in the same building, are separate, and that reservations could only be made for the restaurant. So, we did that, and could not be happier that we did so. The meal was just great!... More

I came to Lyon at the last minute so all the name brand restaurants were booked. I went to La Potager on the hotels recommendation and was so pleased I did. Innovative food and the small portion sizes suit me as a solo taveler. I could taste more than one thing. I had the Ballentine du Lapin w berry vinegar... More

I really didn't like this restaurant! Even if dishes might be presented in a nice way the taste is really horrible! I would never suggest this restaurant to a friend! The only acceptable thing was the desert. Few choices and very expensive!

We had a delectable lunch, loved the cheese-filled ravioli! Everything looked delicious. We should have gone back for dinner.

They obviously are trying to be innovative, but just on the superficial side. We reserved the table online, so we were seated inside and offered one very limited menu. One of us had €39 fix menu, and the other had €19 for starter and €40 for main course. The starters were good, but not amazing. The main course were squid... More

We booked on the recommendation of a colleague and we were very happy with the experience. A beautifully chic restaurant, situated above the bistro of the same name, we had their menu forumle (they don't do à la carte), but all the courses had a choice of two dishes. Delicious Lyonnaise cuise, beautifully presented and great service.
