Maitre D is owner and incredibly helpful in negotiating a diverse menu of delights.. Chef and chief designer of menu is the wife of the Maitre D. Delightful and friendly waitress makes the overall experience wonderful. For the less adventsome, copious morels on tender chicken with mushroom sauce is delectable. The appetizer table more advetursome with marinated beef nose, feet of... More

Really good platter of cheeses and meat. Reasonably priced food, beef and local wine. Found the atmosphere really lively for a Thursday evening. English from Staff was good which really helps as a tourist here !

Having scoured the streets of central Lyon for an available table, my two brothers and I ventured back towards our accommodation across the Rhone. Thankfully, this lively bouchon had a table for us. We should have never adventured in the city centre as this was the perfect food experience of our trip. The menu, like other bouchons', was full of... More

Trendy bouchon not far from Center. I got a table outside on a Tuesday at 8 pm but I heard better to book in advance. This was my first experience in a Bouchon. The owner was somehow nice but it was extremely difficult to understand his English despite of his efforts so I just ordered something random among different variants.... More

Great place to sample local delicacies with a wide range in selection. The owner was more than willing to talk through every part of the menu, and obviously takes pride in his establishment. Great atmosphere with honest food to match.

Nice little place near the river, just good typical Lyonnaise food. Decent portion sizes and nice service. Tried the crab tartare and the Duck in pepper sauce from the 25 euro menus, all good!!

The owner was so lovely and translated the menu for us into English. Generous portion sizes and the food and wine was absolutely delicious and so well priced! Best dining experience in France so far. Definitely recommend. Try the cocon Lyonaisse which is the traditional fish quenelle in lobster sauce ☺️

Myself and my bothers were in Lyon for a weekend for their birthday and we ate here on the saturday night. We arrived late and they were busy but they were able to make room and give us a table even without having a reservation. They made us feel really welcome and explained all the items on the menu in... More

Very good typical lyonnaise food, the portions are big and the price is fair. The service is brilliant.

I ate here twice during my trip to Lyon, on both occasions the meals were exquisite. The service was first class, from both the owner and also the waitress. The menu is small, but has a good choice and offers traditional lyonnaise dishes. There is an excellent wine list and offers something for varying prices. I wish it opened on... More
