We decided to go to this brasserie, as it was recommended by Conde Nast Traveller in one of the articles as a place to eat in Lyon. As we have arrived, we have noticed the variety of seafood in the showcase facing the street, so were going to order some oysters as an appetiser. Despite the fact that the lunchtime... More

We enojoyed a lot our visit to Brasserie Georges. Food was excellent, (try the tartare, prepared at your own table!), and we really appreciated their artisanal beer. The Place is Very noisey and crowdy, but i liked the typical huge Brasserie ambience. We took One starter, two main dishes, one dessert and a couple beers and payed 60 euros.

I went for dinner when the Brasserie was celebrating its 180 years of existence. Nice place, nice decor. It was packed but nevertheless efficient service. Food and dessert was great! When we were there, a number of people were having birthdays and the lights go dim with a special song playing while the waiter brings a cake.

Recommended by friends who had visited Lyon in the summer. Probably one of the largest restaurants I've been in but plenty of welcoming and helpful staff ensured a worthwhile experience. Very good service with a wide-ranging menu and a good choice of wine. All three courses were excellent and considering the size of the brasserie service was very timely. A... More

The restaurant looks like a old central station hall, very nice! But don't expect to see a waiter smiling or being nice to you. Seems like they have a very stressful job there. No time for hello, goodbye or even a little smile. You have to order everything at once, but of course nobody tells you this. In our case,... More

What a lovely venue. This was our third visit to a Brasserie and they were all different. If I had to choose just one then this would be the place for the pure spectacle and flourish with which the dishes were presented. We were greeted by the maître d' who called a waiter to show us to our table. There... More

Good choice of food. Not cheap but a great interior decor and traditional French Brasserie, with lots of history. Near the Perrache Railway Station.
