A group of us went here after looking at number of restaurants nearby. The main reason for going was the fact that it had a obvious vegetarian option for one of our group. We weren't sure initially as it hardly had anyone in it but it looks like we were a little early for French eating (1900hrs) as it really... More

It was a warm Friday last night in September and we got a table on the street. Around 9:00 it was packed as was the whole street. After walking back and forth and soaking up the character of the area we sat down here and were not disappointed. It was my 1st salad Lyonnase and was it GOOD! I think... More

I do not expect service in France that we have been subjected to in the U.K. Since America ruled across the seas. You will be severed here by busy people who are serving lots of customers, deal with it. The setting is 1900s and great, the Lois are worth a visit alone, food is great home cooking for the region!... More

We thought we were lucky to get a table here as we did not book; we were told we got the last table. We squeezed into our table and were excited to taste our food after a big day traveling. After our waiter took our orders and poured the first glass of wine there was little service or a smile... More

I am a well travelled person and have had the experience to try food from all sorts of places, including France for the last 5 years and I have never been greeted by such a sour bunch of waiters nor paid for such a terrible meal. The second we were seated I wanted to leave and we should've. The waiter... More

I have taken note of your comments and I expressed our Chef kitchen and our dining room manager. We regret that you did not share your dissatisfaction with your dish right away so we can do it again! Regarding the butter, pickles and onions, they are in support of our pie home or our plate of sausage. They are never... More

booked on-line, which was very efficient- had reminder texted in the afternoon. Atmospheric typical bistro, with good value fixed menus as well as a la carte. Our party of 8 had the Gourmet Lyon menu with a bottle of wine between 2 included and we enjoyed it-- not haute cuisine but good simple food well prepared and served by friendly... More

Location is great. Ambience pretty darn good! Had oysters that weren't close to good (in fact we each only ate one - left four uneaten!). Salad Lyonnaise was okay at best - but didn't hold a candle to others in the area. WORST however is our server overcharged us by E$ 73 euros!! Feigned innocence when we caught it -... More

We regret that your meal did not suit you. We apologize for the error collection but it happens so quickly when the server has received several tables ... It's not an excuse, but just to remind you that to err is human .. . More

Having enjoyed a late lunch, we went here for a late dinner. The service was a bit lackadaisical. Perhaps the serving staff were tired. The food was fine: my veal liver was luscious, and my wife loved her salade lyonnaise.

Thank you for your comment ... I'm sorry you saw the fatigue of one of our servers that night, even if we are human and that after a big serve, fatigue is felt. We will be more careful the next time ... More

Went on a Thursday evening with a colleague. The atmosphere was great on a busy street corner with lots of waking traffic outside a typical French bistro. Ordered a veal and mash veg which came with a delicious sauce. Really tasty but the portion was a bit small for 21 euro! The profiteroles I am told are rare to see... More
