Went here as the nearby Chez George was booked up. Nice wine, pleasant starters; we had the seafood vol-au-vent and the foie gras. The mains were the issue. The Butcher's choice beef was so chewy, it was virtually inedible. There was a distinctive unpleasant shrimpy...More

I am at a loss to understand how Trip Advisor's algorithm could end up rating this restaurant higher than lousy to mediocre. Or how so many people could end up eating here and finding it with any merits other than it's cheap. Dining in a...More

Hello, I allow myself to answer you in order to clarify certain things. First of all our establishment does not convince you by its decoration or other jse psais what to answer you. Your dish is of the guinea fowl and therefore making part of...More

Unfriendly service, French classics prepared poorly. Le sabayon was not fresh. Way better restaurants in the area for the same price.

Average dinner. Not happy and nothing really to complain about. Better to consider this restaurant as something slightly better than a pub serving food.

After seeing the reviews we were excited to enjoy a nice meal here. However, it was clear from the start that we were going to be disappointed when the overwhelming noise in the place was crashing plates and cutlery in the kitchen. The Salad Lyonnaise...More

We were looking for an interesting local restaurant and were walking around the old town when we chanced upon the bistro. While patronage is not always a good indicator, the sheer number of people dining at bistro was impressive. We opted for the set menu...More

It was busy with a buzz mid week, large servings and good quality. We have found the smaller choice places specialise and the output is better. we went with the salad to start and then the steak and the duck, both were great. There are...More
